got text from 8888745817 wanting to call back, got 2 other numbers with the same crap. seems they are targeting hawaii, i guess due to hawaii credit union having a beech.

We also had the same text ... the same time (1/29) and we are also members of Hawaii USA fed credit union!!!  Me, my sister, my dad, my aunty ... what's going on?

I got the same message last night as you did. Twice and both different #'s
The number was not in service.

got the same msg from the same two numbers... also in Hawaii... can anything be done?  FCC??   FTC??

got to thinking, i know too early for that, wonder if the people that have been tageted are patrons of the hawaii usa federal credit union? Humm, if this is so, then not only do the people have cc#'s but have personal info. I will watch this thread and see what eles happens. Just a thought!

Earlier that night at 7:39 pm Hawaii time 1-29-09 I got a text from 3523

Please call us immediately at 1-800-679-8951 regarding recent restriction placed on your account. Thank you.

I called back the first number and got an answering machine and told them to take me off of their list and leave me alone!

Will keep you up to date if anything else comes up!  How can we stop these guys? Can't the real CUNA do anything?
