Was home all day and no one attempted to ring door bell. Will give to our local police department.

I got this yellow notice taped to my door about a utility bill? It says second notice, however I'm home. I never received a first notice and I know all my utility bills are paid. I am extremely upset that a person would come that close to my home for a scam!

I also received this message on my door this morning. It was not there when I left for work at 7 am and it was found at 10:30 am by my daughter. I live in the Lake Osborne area of Lake Worth, FL. I am going to call my electric and water companies today to investigate further! States 2nd attempt but there was never a 1st attempt!

I posted yesterday. Today I called FPL they said they don't go door to door & they hadn't heard of this, they gave me FBI number, I called & they hadn't heard of this but they took down the info. People please report it so they have a record trail.

I got a note taped to the front door. Said the same, Utility Bill Reduction application, 2nd attempt. Patricia Huff,FGG We all are mentioning this but is there anything that can be done to either check in to this or protect ourselves from this. It is a little creepy to me as I am a female and was home alone. I am certainly going to report it. Thanks for all the responses. M

Sounds like a third party trying to get you to switch electric suppliers or sell solar items. Why not call your utility & report the card?

Seems like a scam. I got the EXACT same note posted to my gate today. There are 23 Patricia Huffs in the Fort Lauderdale area. FGG is Florida-Georgia Grove and is in Collier County. Utility companies don't conduct business in this manner. I've already wasted too much time on this. Will check my surveillance video and provide it to the police, if needed.
