I also got a call from this number and an email from Robert Smith Public Relations.  It read,  "I am writing an article for cnn.com and would like to write about your company. I am a freelance contributor."  The name on the email was also casey m.
Based on years of experience at sorting legitimate interest in a consumer products company from the scams, I believe this is a scam.  Buyer beware!

I received an E-mail with this number attached. The email reads:  I am writing to request an interview for cbsnews.com about your company. I am a freelancer and there is no charge for this interview.
Please call 877-592-0441 or reply with what you want in the article. signed, casey m <robertsmithpublicrelations@gmail.com>

Seems like he's a PR consultant.  I called back but got a machine - didn't leave a message.  I found this link to a fax number matching this number:

Looks like he's just telemarketing to get business.
