Get these calls all the time and lots of calls from all over the country. Spoofing off phone numbers that are no longer in service. I never answer and never will!

Rep stated it was an auto dialer - that explains why it called the National Guard. She stated she will remove the number. It announced ERC, debt collection agency. Probably a fraud.

An automated call that always asks for someone who is not at this number.   Calls keep coming all the time!!

I can't thank you enough! These people need to be stopped. They call incessantly! I've reported them to the FCC and referred them to this web site for info.

They call and hang up when answering machine kicks in. I wish such reporting as this would end these annoyance calls because there is an ILL family member in the house needing rest, not unwanted, unsolicited mystery calls.

How many ways can you say KKK Invisible Empire illegially profiting from debt previously written off.  The world stopped functioning when they usurped everything with the laundramat that is drugs/guns profit.  Now they own everything including the vehicle to buy debt.  Imagine the world it almost was.  Now it is done. And over.

Over the past few months I was getting multiple calls weekly, usually leaving a message with a reference number.  Today I decided to call them back to see if I could put a stop to this.  It's a legitimate collection agency (I had checked) and menu options include "press 4 to report wrong number" ... so I did.  The young woman was very polite and apologized for the calls when I told her they were calling the wrong person ... my husband and I both have very common given and surnames.  Recently I've been answering or calling back numbers that seem legitimate or calling way too much and have been able to put a stop to future calls by letting them know we are not the people they seek.  As for the scammers, I just have to hope they will give up in time because my "block call" feature is full!

If you are getting collection calls for someone who does not reside there, try reporting the number(s) to the National Do Not Call Registry.  I did that once and the calls stopped.   https://complaints.donotcall.gov

CALLS DAILY  EARLY IN THE MORNING FROM 800-685-3118 ASKING FOR "GIBRALTA " MOST OF THE TIME THEY DON'T EVEN LEAVE A MESSAGE, THEY JUST SAY THE WORD "GIBRALTA". AND HANG UP. HUH!                    

ERC has already been mentioned on this site as the Company using (800) 685-3118 to bother you.  May I suggest a way to deal with collection agencies like this, that annoy you with multiple calls to your home or office, about credit you have nothing to do with? The internet has a ton of info you can find, just by digging into the telephone number, then company websites ? which typically name senior level executives, and then some personal digging. If these collection agencies actually did this, they wouldn?t be calling so many wrong numbers!
We can return the favor, by calling the Executives, preferably at their homes, during dinner time. If not, calling the agency sales department (# is below) will be as annoying to them, as they are to us!  Turn-about is fair play ? spread the word?

Answered and a poorly recorded message asked ""If this is not "Muhammad Ali" press...."" I hung up. Probably try to switch my line to India or Africa. Please, do they really think Ali lives in TX or that no knows who that is? What clowns!

I get these calls at least twice a day - No one is on the other end if I pick up

I have been getting these calls and from various numbers, looking for someone else, when I say there is no person by that name here, they want my information.....no information given and I filed a report with the FTC, and FBI.  These people need to be stopped.  I was told by the FTC this is obviously a scam call. On one call I asked to speak to a supervisor and she had to have my info in order to stop the calls.  I told her (Ms Henderson) I would not give my info and she said, "well then I guess you are going to keep getting the calls".    So I now keep a list of all of these numbers by the phone some of them are 693-296-2334, 412-916-1314, 412-3461370, 412-346-1349, and will add 800-685-3188.  I will call the FTC again and add this phone number to my complaint . The location of the 412 calls was from McKeesport, PA, the FTC seemed interested that I was able to give them a location so hopefully if we all complain they will have to investigate, shut down, and take legal action against these people (feel to remove people and place your own term).  I also am on the no call list and that is obviously not helping.
 

girl dont never answer i have learned that when you answer it only gets worse because now you have answered they will never stop calling because they know they have made contact with a body to harras and that gives them hope..they scammers trying to collect on probaly debts that has expired by law,thats what i read in another blog like this

got a call today.  no message left.  This is one of many numbers that keeps calling and no messages left.  I don't owe anything but whoever is giving my number out must have a s*** load of debt.

I get calls for Carol Kirk from a collection agency phone number 1-800-685-3118 and there is no Carol Kirk at thei number as I have had this phone number for 30 years!   Auto calls can stop as I am also on the do not call list but they don't care and call many times a week!   Can someone stop them???

Call came in as "UNAVAILABLE", tried to get a live person...got a recorded message....I don't OWE any debts.....Considered this company call "BLOCKED".....PUCK YOU!!!!!!
