this number keeps calling my house for someone that does not even live here.. i have had my same phone number for over 20 years.. this person has never lived here.. they are very rude from some law office and refuse to take my phone number off their list ....i get calls all the time of day and night... i called my phone company and they said there is nothing they can do... short of changing my number after 20 years of having same number....this is outrageous!!! the phone number is 1 800 964 1538

Office of Anderson Sinclair LLP, they left a message, I called back and spoke to some rude woman with lots of attitude who first asked my phone number, I did not give it to her, then I asked HER if she had my phone number and to quickly delete it as I am on the do not call list and she then actually repeated my phone number. She said the number was on "the file". I asked which file and she said she could not disclose the information, so I told her...well, then why are you calling me if you cannot tell me what you are calling me for???? She said it was a mistake and mistakes happen....I told her to apologise for her attitude, which she did not and that she was NOT taking me for a mug and that I did not like the little game. I hung up. See what happens...

Well trained dogs in collection. Sharp tongued women who speak fast and are very pushy and rude. They make phone calls to places of employment which as we all know is highly unethical and borders on the criminal. They will make 2, 3, 4 even 5 calls a day and harrass the s*** out of you. I know, I have been avoiding the calls from these nasty witches for about a month and a half now. There are two witches in particular - Jessica Andrade and Patricia Jackove (spelling may be off). They need to be the recipients of similar treatment. If only I had their home/cell phone numbers. It would be nice to return the favor. I suggest requesting that they stop harrassing you with multiple calls is a start to ending the harrassment. Use the words harrassment and abusive phone calls etc.

Also, ask the caller for their name and phone number, who their supervisor is, what their phone number is etc. Do not let them control the conversation. Put them on the defensive. Get pushy back. Then start calling the supervisor and the initial caller 5, 6, 7 times a day just to update them that you called "a relative" to try and help you clear the debt. Call them again and say you called the same relative back because their phone was busy. Call them again and tell them that the relative would call you back when they got out of the bathroom. Get the picture? Inundate them with meaningless information and ask them to record the information in their file. Don't tell them which relative you are calling - its none of their business. Just tell them you are talking to a family member. Repeat the process several times a day for as long as you want.

Also ask them for complete file information - things like the amount of the debt. If it is credit card debt, ask them for a schedule by transaction date of all items that make up the total amount they say is owing including interest as it is calculated month by month. Ask them for the specific details of the debt down to the penny.

However, sooner or later you will have to speak with them about the overall debt. In thris process they will try and put you on a schedule of payments. I suggest making arrangements to make small payments to them for whatever debt they are trying to collect and keep those arrangements. Also demand that they stop calling you anytime, anywhere period.

VERY RUDE and asking my employer inappropriate questions. threatening. just stop it already. don't they know that you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar? obviously not....asked my boss if i was a status indian ffs. what difference does that make? just fear-mongering is all. GROW A PAIR and do business ina  business like fashion.
