they called my cell phone telling me something about updating my car guarantee...?

i don't have one to update...wtf?

called my new york cell while i was in school! i called back and they said they were for something about my mortgage. i'm 13 years old. retards.

Called my cell ## which is only given to family. So it definitely was computer dialing.

me too dude.

Warranty service.  Is there a way to get these creeps in trouble with the law??  Is there a way to make them stop?  Can we sue them for soliciting cell numbers???

Got a missed call from 800-699-3423 @ 5:33PM 4-7-09.  In the past I have actually answered this call & there was only a recording advising that my car warranty was expiring.

Since this call came through on my cell phone & I don't give that # out to anyone other than family I don't know how they got my #.

The africans called me again yesterday, no message left.  I assume it's the africans phone service they are a cheap outsource.  It all started after i checked for a progressive insurance quote.  A** holes hate their commercials with that ugly hag they use for heir spokes person.  I agree how can they take care of my warrenty from zimbobway or where ever they are.

I just got a call today too, i answered it and no one said anything and they just hung up. now that ive read your guys posts i know that i can get charged for it. alltel has a problem with these stupid calls as well. thanks for your guys help.

Exact same thing happened here. Missed the call by about 30 seconds though.

Got a call from 1-800-699-3423, missed the call, left no message. I tried calling back three times, but it said this number was not available to call in my area. I am getting fed up with crank and telemarketers.

Keep getting a call once or twice from this number...not sure who it is...i try calling back and it states number unknown

My wife says that this ppl in africa are re-routing calls so you get charged for their calls when u answer. She says that we got charged for a phone call we didnt make once.
She says that T-mobile has this problem

got that call today, didn't answered, tried to call back, had the same bs that i couldn't reach that phone from my area. I agree with the other ppl that believe that they have an auto dialing machine.

i got a call from those car warranty people so many times and the first time i was like thats odd and i stayed on the line fr a bit then i hung up the second time i hung up rite then and there 3rd time i said quit callin my f ing phone and i never got a call back from the warranty people and its also funny that i crashed and totaled my car after they started calling me and today while im in class i got a call on my cell from that number i ignored it went outside the classroom tried to call it back and it said that this number is unavailable in your calling area and a couple of months earlier i got a call from Indiana i don't know anyone in Indiana i don't know if that's related to the rest of my weird calls and they haven't called my house that i know of yet but it pisses me off

This number was advertised in New York on one of the FM Radio stations as a credit card debt reduction service. I think it is a call center and the number is used for different marketing campaigns. Anyway, I would not recommend answering or calling back, as it is definitely a scam.

This is a call about an expiring car warranty.  I got this on my cell phone.

Scam company called Warranty Solutions.
"Press 1 if you're interested in extending your warranty Press 2 to close your file."
I of course pressed 1 and kept these b*****ds on the line for over 15 minutes.
They got pissed off when I wouldn't give them my credit card number.
All they want is your credit card or banking account info. If you offer to send them a check they won't accept that. That's because they don't want to leave a paper trail and get nailed for mail fraud.

These a**les use auto dialing machines to troll for people that are elderly, mentally impaired or otherwise stupid and gullible.
My suggestion is to have fun with these maggots and tag them along.
If they call you keep them on the line for as long as possible because it cost them money to actually have to talk to you.

Was on my cell caller ID. I never call back numbers I do not know. I thought if you entered your cell on the Do Not Call registry, that telemarketers could not call, same as land lines.
