This is day #3 that I get a call from this no.asking for a family member. How can I find out who this is?

Keep calling me about someone I don't know

We keep getting phone calls at my work office asking for the boss and it is imperitive he speaks with her. He's called maybe 20 times in the past 2 months and she doesn't know who he is or what he's calling about. This guy is very rude and snappy as well.

i keep getting harrasing phone calls from this number. the reps that call are very rude.they do not identify themselves orthe name of the organization they are calling from.i called the number that comes up on caller id. it's from william siegal's law office oh i mean from a debt collector. they are looking for my son. i tell them  everyday he does not reside with me. the calls keep coming. multiple times a day.i ask what the call is about. they say it's none of my business it's a personal matter regarding my son.hey this is the age of identity theft and crazy people. they actually think i will give them another number to contact my child. are they crazy.i thought these practices were illegal. what can i do about rule or law enforcement. who do you contact

Same here, they call for my son.  I play with them since they won't quit calling.  They tell me they can't tell me anything about what it is about due to privacy.  So, I tell them I can't tell them how to get in touch with my son due to his privacy.  I let them know I know exactly where he is and his number but I just can't give it to them.  They offer to leave a call back number for me to pass to him but I tell them I can't do that.

Got a call asking for an old acquaintence. Told them for the 5th time to remove the number. They say that they can't do it.

I just got the same call they tried my mobile then called my roommate's mobile which was bizarre. Indian accent, told me i have debt w T mobile who I haven't used in YEARS. When I contested he asked me for my SSN at which time I hung up. If this is the real deal they need to send me something in mail. Oh btw they were also asking for consent of recording the conversation. I said no. The number came from 866-355-9587

I've been getting this call two or three times a day. I finally called back to ask what the F this is about and I guess they were looking for the guy who had the cell # before I did. The guy was very nice and removed my "recycled" number from their dialing queue. All I had to give him was my name (I can only assume that since it's 2010 my number showed up on his caller ID heh). If he had asked for my ss# I would have laughed in his face and hung up.

I have gotten calls from this number many times & yes, they are some kind of collection firm. But, in my case the money they say I "owed" was because someone "Slammed" me for a service I had asked repeatedly to have stopped but, they still kept on Charging me.
This has happened not just once, but several times now from unscrupulous companies that illegitamly try to charge you for a service or product that was either non-existant, no good, or that was never ordered in the first place. I would highly suggest that if you talk to any of these people ... Do NOT give them any information but, INSIST on getting their full information such as the persons name, ID number, Company they work for & the company they are representing as to respect as to what they are trying to collect for & for what reason.
If they refuse to give you the number without "veryifying" your idendtity ... don't just offer your social security number. Let them guess what it is & tell them that YOU also must verify THEIR information as to the legitamicy of their claim. if the number they give you is correct, then DEMAND for their information. But, do not make ANY payment to them. Rather, if you feel you truly owe the money they are claiming. Tell them that you will ONLY pay it directly to the creditor it is owed to & not some third party. That way you know for sure your account will be credited properly.
I have had situations where I paid money to a collection agency ... & it NEVER was taken off my account! So BE CAREFUL!!!
And further more ... I would report this agency the your local Better Busines Beruae, as well as the Federal  Credit Fraud Reporting agencies. FREAKY I called the number back and they said *mumble mumble* law offices. I said yeah um I keep getting calls from this number? and the guy didn't say anything else other than "Yeah I was looking for Juan...I will erase your number. Allright thank you." Didn't ask me for that person or anything. WIERD. I was getting irritated because I get umpteen calls a day from them on my tracfone.

This number has been calling me for at least a couple years now and they always ask for Pablo Fransisco. I always tell them I don't know anyone by that name, but they continue calling and leaving voicemails. So annoying.

Number showed up as a missed call on my tracfone. I have only had this tracfone a couple of days and no one had my new number yet so either might have been someone else's old number or they are just the usual scam artists looking to see who they can get to pay them.

Is everyone getting these calls on cell phones and if they are are they on no contract phones that sell your information because I had 1 of those phones last year net10 and was getting these calls and just got a new phone with made up name and zip code and am getting these call from the 2 numbers listed above and nobody says anything. I am on the do not call list and as far as I know I don't owe anybody anything but use a different name on these no contract phones because I resent them selling my information. If this was a legit call they would say something and not just hang up.

Received a call from this number. No voicemail left. When I called back it was someone sounding Middle Eastern. He asked if I called for William Segel by any chance. I told him I had no idea who they are. Then, I thought he asked for my number. I told him that he called me I wasnt going to give it to him. He then raised his voice and said aaaaaahiii weeeel remooooove yooorr number. I said fine and hung up.

I got the same call today...he was asking for the last four of my social. I told him to go to HELL!!!

I keep getting missed calls on my cell from this number. When I call back it's for William Siegel and Associates. They've never left a message and I don't have nor have ever had TMobile, so dunno what it's about...Just want to figure out how to make them stop calling my cell..

I also got two calls from this number today. I received first one but they hang up, because my son was screaming, and i missed second one. So irritataing, i usually do not investigate such calls but i was expecting an important phone call, so had to go through it.

Have missed multiple calls from this number (800-701-0640) on my cell.  Today when I answered there was no one at the other end.  Have never had TMobile service, so shouldn't be related to them in my case, and have no debts that would concern a collection agency.  Irritating!

I received a call today right after placed a call to Westinghouse Tech Support whose tel # is 1800-701-0680 so i returned the call only to hear that i am calling a law firm, i asked the guy on the phone why are you calling me as i have no business with a law firm.He kept asking for my tel# which i would not give to him so i hung up because he called so why should i be giving my number to him

IT is a company called Williams W Siegel. They are a collection agency for T-Mobile.

This number was a missed call. I called back and they said it is a law office. I said what kind of law office and from where? She wanted to know my number and said if I don't give her any information then she can't stop the calls and they will keep calling. I told her I have no business witha law office and i don't want you calling anymore. She asked what my number was and last four of my social. I didn;t give her anything and hung up. If this is a scam, they need to be reprimanded.

i called t mobile to take care of my debt's i have had with t mobile, the caller sounded very sexy and it gave me a lil chubby... anywho she reffered me to this number and i looked it up on the internet to see where it was located and all this stuff came up...do you think i should go ahead and try to take care of my bills that i owe or go thru someone else..is so who do i need to call ? thanks nastys

This message just means that you owe someone some ammount of money.

I went to upgrade my T Mobile phone and was denied service because their computer said I had a past due bill on another T Mobile account. I have never had another T Mobile account. They gave me a collections agency to call to resolve the problem. The no. was 800-701-0640.  Needless to say, I will not be calling them as this seems like a very shady operation.

I'm at work and my family just called and told me a law firm called and  were told to have me call them back they gave a reff code and the guy to call back was Roger Moore...

Continuly get these calls and when I call back to tell them they have the wrong person they get very mean.  they must be doing something illegal

I believe they are from a law office of Mitchell N. Kay New York.  They are debt collectors, or rather debt attorneys and the people calling probably are just part time staffers.  If you google them, there are bad stpries you get.  So most likely it is from a past bill you owe, or even a debt that has been setlled, but has been passed on to these potato heads.  Eitherway, my suggestion is NEVER, NEVER engage in a conversation with them.  When a collector calls and you respond, no matter how little you respond, it sort of "renews" their interest in you, and they feel thay "have you enagaged" so then the calls will just quadruple once they make contact with you.  Just ignore them.  I have and the calls stopped in about a month.

Some guy called me from this number gave some reference number and said this was "time sensitive. The caller ID on my cell said 212. That was it. The guy gave the 800 number to call back on the voicemail. The voicemail was complete with heavy breathing. Eww. That's over the top even for the scammers.
