yeah, same thing happened to me. I called back, but there was way to much of a wait for me to care, so i hung up.

I started getting calls from this number on September 22, 2009 the calls are consistant in the early morning hours and the late evening hours, when I answer it go's straight to elevator music with no one to speak to... this is obviously a Marketing call of some sort just wish they get me off their dam calling list as well! SOB's!! I hate these dam companies why dont they get real jobs!!

8007044632 keeps calling us at work and then there is no one there and it hangs up!!! SOOOOOOOOOO ANNOYING!! We are wondering who it is. We called back and all we got was music, it wasn't even good music.

They keep calling and calling and not leaving a msg. I finally picked up the phone and no one answers. Any one know who this is?

those white collar debt-ridden rednecks called me. I answered but got the intel inside song instead repeated 3 or 4 times. then it hung up.

i called my phone operator and they told me they could do nothing about it. but that i could do "star 77" and it will block people trying to call you that withdraw their number information.

I am so sick of these people. They have been calling the past week. I just got 3 calls from them in 20 min. I told them to stop calling and they won't. I don't think they even understand english. They are also very rude. I'm going to report them to the phone company.

These stupid s.o.b.'s call at all hours of the day. Over and Over again and again, sometimes they dont even speak they just hang up and if you call them back their phone system wont connect to anybody. if the purpose if the call is to help you get a degree maybe they should find someone with a brain to answer the f*****g phone.

They keep calling me and I don't answer when I call back it doesnt ring it just start the minutes. Do you think They are charging us? some scam maybe! because this number when you type it online it doesnt show for which company

Of all people, I should have known better.  I filled in my cell number as a prerequisite to watch a missed TV episode.  Now I'm getting calls too.  Fortunately it's an emergency cell I turn on when I'm away from home and work.  I have a special ring for then and ignore it.  I am probably sill getting the calls, just doesn't show up if my phone is off.
When they say it's free it's only a ploy to get want your email address, phone number, or something else.  
I called them a couple of times.  Put a tin piepan over the phone and when they finally answered, I beat it with a wooden spoon, that's gotta hurt.

I received multiple phone calls per day from this number.  I already told them the person they're looking for is dead.  I also told them that I'm not looking for any degrees.  Depending on where the person is from, I mess with them just keeping them on the line for s**** and giggles.

They call at the strangest hours, then when I answer there is no response... just silence... What a pain, and a waste of my time and cell phone minutes. Why did they even think it was okay to call my cell phone???

This same number has been calling me for a week now. AT&T instructed me how to block it but have had no luck.. Any ideas??

Haha. You can make annoying calls to them with music blasting in the background on your side of the phone till the han up. Ive done that 2-3 times and they havent called back.... The last time i call i told them my name right off and said dont call my number again. then i blasted the buttons song from the pussycat dolls. I playedhe song till they hung up and havent heard from then in a few days.

I'm getting multiple calls a day from this number. When I answer there's either silence on the other end, or the "Intel inside" jingle, and then it disconnects. This is annoying as heck!

I've started getting those calls too.  All I'm seeing is questions. Doesn't anyone have an answer as to hot to make them stop?

This number has been calling every day for quite some time but we are not usually home and they NEVER leave a message. I finally ansered today and the lady asked to spek to my 10 yr old some by name. I said that he is 10 yr old boy and she hung up on me. I called back several times until a man name Jack Brandon answered. He said this is a college help line and that they had received a request for colleges from my son. BS! Never happened. Said he would put our number on a do not call list then asked if there were other numbers. I told him I wasn't giving him any of our other numbers. Jack said he was sorry. He didn't sound sorry at all....

Someone called me from this number about 10 minutes ago.  I couldn't understand what the guy was saying at all! Then he asked if my email address was correct and I said yes, and then I got disconnected. Weird.

I shot an emailt o a college program last year and I am still getting ridiculous phone calls form people despite the fact that I called them, spoke to a manager personally, and had the company's name taken off the call list. What is sad is that I have a PhD and I called to get college info for some of my employees so they could get affordable schooling. Companies like this make me not want to help out anyone anymore.

Lately they say nothing, they just hang up on me. That is even MORE fun.

5 second delay, representative kept saying "hello" but didn't identify herself.  I called the number back to get removed from their list.  GetYourDegree.net is the company calling.

This number just started calling yesterday....It has called 4 times now.

if you want to remove your number from their calling list, call the number back and let the stupid music play for about 11 mins. and then tell them you want your number removed. i just did it.

they called at least 5 times a day. and hung up as soon as i answered the call.

Yep... these a**holes call every week day at 8am or 8:30am and then ususally at least one more time in the afternoon or early evening, and it's been going on for almost 3 weeks now. If I don't answer they just hang up.  I guess I should be thankful they're not filling up my answering machine with recorded messages.  Yeah, great.
The first time they called I asked them to take me off their list --- but that ain't happening!! Unbelievable.  
In the last 4 months, I've signed up twice on the DO NOT CALL list, but everytime I do that, it seems like a few new telemarketers start calling me.  I'm quite sure now that this 'do not call list' is really just a ploy to gather phone numbers to sell to other telemarketers.
