I keep getting calls from 8007059068 .. never a message SO I called back  and they couldn't find a reason for the call !!!

This number called a while back, no identity, no message. They called today at 8 am. Nobody even heard it, as we keep the ringer off until later in the morning. They must be some kind of scam. When I was learning the ways of the world, the only honest phone call, was one where 1)they actually had a business relationship with you, or they would not be calling in the first place, and 2) they identified themselves and stated their business. We did not even have caller ID, but we did not need it. Nobody in those days would make a cold call to your house, and then demand to know who you are, without first identifying themselves. Why do they think this is acceptable?

Bill collector most likely.  They call but don't leave a message.

They called me one time only, on March 14. They failed to identify themselves in the caller ID, it said "UNAVAILABLE." They did not leave a message. They never called back. What is the point of calling people and not imparting any  information whatsoever to the people they are calling? What exactly do they expect to gain by these obnoxious, stupid tactics?  

In the absence of a category below for "pest" calls, I will mark this one a "prank" call.

Based upon my call log they call twice a month or every 2 weeks as well. Same storyline as is in this thread where the will not leave a message and if you answer they will not tell you who the company they are calling from or why they are calling.

I am currently on payment plans with all my debtors so I have no idea why they would be calling.

I got a call from them today. I didn't answer but as I looked back at my phone log  I see they call me twice a month. Did you find out who it was?

This number keeps calling so today I answered and when ?Victoria? asked for me I asked who was calling and she claimed it was a personal matter, I hung up

You called me again this morning, no message left.  I'm sure you would check a site like this to know when your scam might be coming to an end.  I will explain to you again, I know you are not a legitimate bill collector, I know you are a scammer, I am working on finding out who exactly you are.   DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN.   I work in a field where I am able to investigate things a little further, let's just put it that way.

yep they keep calling me too so I add them to my contacts and put the words scam or bill collector by the number this way everytime they call me ill know and if they call from a different number ill just screen wait for the hangup and call the number back c if its the same place and add them as well this way I can ignore them anytime

I received a call from this number, no message left.  I don't know what they want but assuming trying to collect on a bill.  Here's the deal if you call me and need to collect on a bill I will be more than happy to take care of it as long as it is legit, this means you send me proof of the bill, because if you're calling me you obviously have my address.  If you are a scammer thinking that threatening me with some kind of charges is going to scare me into paying, here's what I will do,  I will report you to every law enforcement agency known to man, I have no issue with legitimate bill collectors but these scammers threatening paperwork, filing charges, which cannot be done for a debt, is complete bull****.  You call from a 1-800 number with an unknown name, most likely no one will answer your calls.

Man called me trying to collect on bill I NEVER GOT! Wanted me to sign something. SCAM! BEWARE!!!

Called 8:30 pm est 9/10/12; no message

Continues to call, hangs up when I answer and never leaves a message if I can't answer the phone - I am sure a bill collector...

It is financial recoveries. They did leave a message and gave another number to call them.

SO sick of these phone calls I reported back in November 30 and still they call yesterday, today probably tomorrow I am sick of them......!!!!!,  I have a legitimate job unlike these bozos who harass for a living.. These calls at work need to be stopped. 8:40 am.  I answer my phone to my children only.

This number called this afternoon, there was no message. an when it was called back only a answering maching like a house Answering machine played asking for name number an address an reference number an they would get back tome? Who is this? What company are they calling from?

Received a phone call from this number.  No message left.  Just very annoying.....

Rec'd a call from a "James Allen" at this phone number looking for my roommate.  He refused to leave a message and refused to provide any information indicating "I would love to leave a message but I am not permitted to, if you have a phone with caller id the telephone number is on there."  No indication what this was concerning or even who Mr. Allen was calling on behalf of.  This seems very suspicious to me.
