Magazines telemarketer, seems to be aimed at what kinda business you are in. They got the info, why don't they just keep sending the mag.

This number called a business line and I answered.  They asked for an Exec that is retired.  When I said that he wasn't available, they tried to get me to confirm his address for his "free magazine"  I just told them that we are not authorized to give out that information and hung up

no caller id, phone number way out of my area, just let it rang, machine picked up, no message.

Called me, but wasn't able to pick up the line and play with them.  I'm sure they will call back.

They keep calling, but leave no message. Sent them to the fax number extension, we'll see if they call back.

Called our company number and hung up with no message. Based on this thread, we will block their future calls.

The caller called my number at 3:12 p.m., today, and asked to speak to my husband, Sid.,  I asked the caller to wait, and asked my husband to pick up the extension.  As soon as my husband picked u the phone and said, "hello," the caller hung up.
I reported the call as a Do Not Call List violation.

Answered the call, 3 seconds of dead  then "Goodbye"

Picked up the phone - said Hallo several times - no answer - and hung up.

Call constantly, hang up. When Zi do answer, they try to get personal info for mag subscription. Tell them not interested, but the start calling again in a week

Called and left hold music and a recording on my voice mail. Very annoying.

THEY CALL EVERY DAY! I HATE THEM! Will take out my concha doll in about five minutes and wish them dead. And their families and friends. Pins in hand and wish me luck!

Trying to send "free" subscriptions to various trade magazines (engineering, manufacturing, etc.). Call our business 2-3 times a week  Always ask for "Mr. ------", our CEO, and when told he's not available, always ask: "Does he have an assistant I can speak with?"  Tell them a million times that he does NOT have an assistant; they won't leave a voice mail and say they will call back (which they do--incessantly!!) Today, I could hear other reps with their outbound calls in the background when she asked to speak to "Mr. ------". I said: "Certainly!", and hung up. Sorry, but gets really tiresome day after day....

this happened to us as well. they asked me to verify  our office address. Told me it was a company that we order from. I was unaware that it might possibly be a scam. I hope nothing bad can come out of me varifing our address

Just got a call from them, didn't answer- no VM.

This is either a robe telemarketing system or spam phishing attempts. I stayed silent  and after 15 seconds or so, a middle eastern accented woman asked for me. I replied who is this first? She only siad her name and would not say where she is calling from... I hung up.

Same here, she has a foreign accent, talks very rapidly.  Basically, I'm not going to answer any of your questions because 1) you're talking to fast, 2) you have an accent, those two combined I can't understand a darn thing you say so you could slip in anything and I might not understand you and say yes to something I don't want to.  Stop freaking calling!!

Said they were ECN. I said WRONG # !
