I tried calling this number 7 times to tell them to stop calling me.  The first 4 times they hung up on me as soon as I asked to speak to someone about not calling me.  The last three times I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor.  I was told I couldn't speak with them and the they hung up on me again.  All 7 times I reached a different operator with an Indian sounding accent.

Im having the exact same problem as Brad. About 3 times a week these guys call me telling me about how I qualify for debt reduction. At first I didn't even ask them to stop calling me, I politely asked them what debt they were reffering to in their messages as I was not aware that I was in debt (which in checking with my bank turns out I am not). Thats all that was needed to constitute them hanging up on me. Then just like Brad everytime I tried to get the name of one of those Indian operators or a manager, boom instant hang up. I can't even get the name of their company out of them to report them to the BBB.
These guys are extremely annoying, calling even on saturday mornings. I suggest that if anyone else gets calls from these people to not give them any information at all. Even if you might be in debt, like I mentioned above these guys call me every week, yet i have never missed a credit card payment. It all seems like one huge scam so be careful.

calls and when I ask how they got my unlisted no they hang up on me, when I let the answering machine kick in, they leave a message for me to call back and the # is not for incoming calls, you never get to speak with anyone, and by the way my # is on the national register for "do not call".

Vivian,

You should file a complaint with the FTC on the national "do not call" registry website. The FTC can take legal action against them for continuing to call you despite your number being on the "do not call" list.

I received a call from 800-709-0241 yesterday.  Called back right away today. The caller's name, William Park, might have been faked.  Insdead, the receptionist asked me "what's your situation?"  She did not dare even to tell me what their company's name is, just hanged up.

I have recieved these calls as well... one back in March & one today (4/10).  I told them back in march that I do not have debt & they said they'd remove my number.  That was my only 'polite' experience with them.  They left a message again today & I called to have my number removed & was hung up on... I have now been hung up on 6 times today by them...  I am going to keep pursuing this as I have no debt.  Now that I'm really angry at these people I will not stop until they stop calling me.  I will be calling my local phone company tomorrow to report harrassing calls from these people.  BTW - in some states, you can use the code to tracde the call(call your phone companhy to get it & check the laws in your state) that if you get a call from this number, you then push the code in after the call (even if it's a message) & then call your phone company (their number is on your phone bill).  They can put a trace on it & if it happens 3 times, they will prosocute (sp) the b*****ds!!  And those calls do not have to be in a row either.  A little law I learned when when dealing with my significant other's ex calling my house.  She got in big trouble!

I too have received numerous calls from this company, with the same type messages as described above, and only at my place of work since I am already on the 'No call List'.

However, I work for a local government, and as such, we can not be listed on the no call list.

And since the people that work for this company will habng up on me as quickly as they do on most people that have posted before me, I have resorted to calling back, telling them how much debt I am in along with a fake name, give them the phone number for my chief political elected official, and talk with their representative as long as I can before I decide to terminate the call.

Since they are nice enough to provide us with an '800' number when they call and annoy us, I figuire the least we can do, when we have a few minutes to waste, is to call back at their expense.

Just make sure your number is blocked when yuo do this or you will get even more calls from them.

Have a good day my fellow friends receiving these calls

I just got a new phone at my job.  Whoever had this phone number before me must have been on their list--when I first turned on the phone, I had 3 voice messages from "Jay Moore" and "William Park".

I tried calling the 800 number and asked to be removed from the list and was hung up on.  I also tried asking for a manager and was hung up on.  I'll try to DNC list to see if I have any luck.

For those of you that have reported this number, which agencies did you contact?

Because I was sick of being hung up and "Sam" never took me off the do not call list and I called and pretended to have debt and was put on hold several times waiting for a supervisor.

I have received this same message from William Park 7 times on  my machine. I tried to file a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry, but it won't go through! I'm going to try and call the FTC. Since I am on the Do Not Call List, they are breaking the law. If anyone gets a solution to this problems let us know.

I have been called by this company at least 3 times/day for the past month- just called back told them I had $40,000 debt and finally got through to a live person.  I said in an extremely firm tone that if I was not removed from this list I would be getting the authorities involved, they then hung up on me!

just be firm.  They kept leaving message on my phone.  I called up and told them never to call back again in a very mean tone.  She confirmed my number and took me off the list immediately.  Don't be nice.  You have to be mean or they will not take you seriously.  I just got a new phone and I am getting calls all the time.  I signed up for the do not call list.  It has been five days now.  I can not wait until the 30 days are up.  These telemarkers are SO ANNOYING!!!!

It is my contention, that since the government does nothing about DNC violations, that the DNC list is used as a resource to harvest phone numbers by clowns like these.

These two persons (or only one???) called my home phone the whole week and left many messages about credit card payment reduction ( and I have no credit card balance!)...One  is Jame Moore from 1-800-693-1949 and another is William Park from 1-800=709-0241. Both of the guys left exactly the same message with the same voice, only with different name and different phone numbers, so I think they are fake and have some bad intention...
