Beware of these types of organizations.  A lot are lobbyist groups who don't have to tell you that.  If you give them donations, you maybe inadvertently supporting something you wouldn't.  Sad but true.  I'm sick of having to have these calls.  When I'm on a DNC, that means charities and political and all!!! Hate all of this!  Love this site though!

Called this number (800-710-0729) after receiving a call from 800-710-0724.  The automated system recorded my entry and is placing my number on the do-not-call list for the TN Vietnam Veterans.  I know the original message is over 2 years old but wanted to let others know it's still valid.

Does anyone know who this is? There is no information anywhere on this 800#

I finally had enough of this and called the number on the caller ID.  It said it was the TN Vietnam Veterans Inc.  If you want them to stop calling, call 1-800-710-0729 and press 9.  It's all automated so you don't have to talk to anyone.

Another annoying call - the caller ID says:  TOLL FREE CALL  

How's that for our 'caller ID dollars' at work? How can they get away with that, you and I could never register a phone under a name like that. Ugh.

I just don't answer these calls and hope eventually they give up calling.

I called the automated number above and pressed 9 which then played a recorded message stating that after their files were updated I would no longer receive calls from them.  I remember telling my mother once that I wouldn't do something again.  I hope they are better than me.

For calls that my caller ID only gives the # for, usually 800 whatever, I open the line and put the phone up to my stereo speakers or over a flushing toilet. Juvenile, eh. And I'm in my sixties.

Call received from Person that said he was with the Veitnam Veterans for Agent Orange fall campaign. Adivsed caller that a donation had been made earlier this year to the Veitnam vets... Oh that was another campaign he said, this is for agent orange not homeless vets.... Sorry cap no more donations this year. Thanked me and he hung up...... I expect to get the same call several times as before my wife answered and made the donation.

I called back.  It's the Vietnam Veterans Association, looking for charitable donations.

Called and asked for whoever owns the home.  Told them person was not available.  Then asked if the man of the house was in.  Told them no.  They said thank you and hung up.  Don't know who it was.

Called four times without leaving a message.
