I'm getting calls from this number every 10 minutes. WTF?

People selling your business advertisement b/c they will give you 1 month free then charge you. They try to tell you its free then after they update your business info they tell you about a charge for $49 later on. I would not authorize.

I believe this is a scam for a search engine.  They call you -- they tell you have 30 days for your company to be listed for free.  When you get a confirmation by mail, you are told you will be billed $49.95 a month through your phone! The same lady (broken english) called me twice to tell me about our free listing -- the 2nd time I told her I was not interested.  They tell you that if you want to cancel, to call this number.  However, it just connects to music and you are thrown on hold, and they never pick up.

This number call. There was no call duaration, no message left. As someone else noted, if one attempts to call it back it goes directly to a message that states "one moment while we connect your call".
I disconnected even though on my phone plan I do not have to worry about paying for long distance calls.

HAng-ups 6 times in two hours. They have been calling more persistently for the past week.

We got 5 calls from 8007102301 last weekend (12/1).  Seems to be an escalating pattern of calls with no one on the line.  I called the number and they immediately tried to switch the call to another connect, so I hung up.  Instead, since I use my phone line for a computer based fax and leave it on all of the time, I installed a CID capable modem and now just screen off the number, along with all incoming 800 numbers, Out of Area, or Private calls.

Called about every half hour on the 29th of Nov, already 5 times on this Saturday.  Somebody with broken English, most of the time they only ring twice and then hung up. What a pest.

I continually get 'hang up' calls from this 800 number. The CID says Out of Area? How do I know who it is?
