I would file a complaint. If they call back I would record the conversation too!!

Tell them the next time they call you are recording it (legal in most states) for the purpose of gathering evidence for filing a lawsuit against them for harassing a non-debtor under the TCPA (Do-Not-Call) laws.

This number calls my phone at least once a week. The person they want is not at my number. I keep informing them but they keep calling. Ready to pull my hair out & need suggestions on how to stop them.

It's been a while since they have called me again, but a couple of months ago I was getting hounded like 5 or 6 times a day asking for Richard Vincent.  I called them back and told them I was not who they were they were looking for and to please take my number off their system.  They agreed.  2 days later process starts all over agian.  I called them back, and with some pretty colorful language, I told them I was not who they were calling for and they ned to remove my number from their system, and if they didn't, that I would slap them with a telephone harrassment charge.  They stopped calling until yesterday...I guess they didn't believe I was serious..

thay called my cell phone number 25 times in the past week ..i didnt know that thay were debt collectors till i looked up there phone number on internet and found this posts about them...so i called them back and gave them my cell phone number and thay said thay did not have my number in there system and ask me for my other numbers saying that someone was routing there calls to my cell.....well i am not going to give them my other numbers so thay can start calling them....thay wouldnt tell me why thay called me...so i gave them the what fors and told them to stop calling me some how i dont think it will work ..but i lost my temper .. .if i lived any where close to there offices i would go there and beat the s*** out of them or go postal lol

The number 800-711-6319 has been calling my number for over a year now looking for Kelly Bleak. I called it back and it goes to Infinity. The lady who answered was very helpful in removing my number from their data base.

Just got the call and started calling them back to tell them that they have a wrong number and guess what?, their telephone number they post 800-711-6319 gets a busy signal (tried 3 times).

I have been receiving calls on a daily basis from this number. They never leave a real message, its always an automated message and when I try to call it back it says its disconnected or no one answers. Very aggrevating.

ive been getting several calls from this number every day. they want some dude named "melvin stalks" or something like that....very annoying..

i recieved a call from this number asking for my 5 year old son! this is just ridiculous!

I have gotten this call a couple of times. They usually hang up but have left one message with nothing on it.

number showed up on my caller ID as "toll free call'. I never answer so I checked here. I've gotten calls before that actually showed up as "Infinity Group". No wonder they call themselves "Infinity Group", they keep calling for infinity. All they'll get from me is endless "no answers". I just ignore these bottom-feeding trolls.

I had a debit for a power bill and had already setup a payment plan with another company when infinite group #180035099419  and 6783272333 called me at work. now I work for a call center and had to take my lunch to call them back. I am trained to be Curtice and nice to the point of pain to our customers these guys were ice cold. they said they had not received my payment which I had mailed out the first of the month. so I got worried called my bank and got a copy of the money order. the company I was dealing with was Alliance receivables called them and they said they had nothing to do with infinite group and not to send them anything and also to tell them that by law if yo request that they stop calling you they must or you can sue. when and if they call back they will learn the chose cuse words that I have learned from dealing with some very irate customer over the years. I admit that some call center seem to hire the undesirables but these guys seem to be a con or scam I am going to have a lawyer look into it for me along with my accountant. Please believe me folks not all of the LCR (listener care reps) are morons just a few and most will try to help you if you let them. maybe that is just me

Since the first week that I had my Safelink/ Tracfone in January 2010 I have received calls for a Billie Henderson.  Sure enough, they come from Infinity Group Receivables, but now they are using 800-450-0737.  I have called this number and spoken to three different people and explained each time that this number is no longer assigned to a Billie Henderson.  Each person has said that the number will be removed from the list, but I'm betting, judging from the comments I've read here, that the calls will continue.  I will call the Ohio Attorney General's office the next time.  Something tells me they are familiar with this group already.
If Billie Henderson is reading this I want you to call your friends and tell them that this is no longer your number.  One of them is in the hospital and her Mom called looking for you.

I have been receiving calls for a Daniel Freeman for over a year now. I continue to hang up, NO Daniel Freeman at this phone number 608 985 8646 never has.  Please stop these calls. YOu need to get a correct phone number and this is not it.

No im serious. I dont work there. I live in Bronx, NY. They were calling about my FDNY bill, and a lady named Janice helped me work out a payment plan to get it corrected. She was very helpful and nice. Try talking to her instead of the other people.

They just called me. They said that thye were looking for me. I sak what her name was she didn't really want to give it to me. Tried to tell me I oweda hospital bill from 2000. I had recieved a call from them before and contacted the hospital they say I owe nothing and don't pay the bill. She was rude. I was rude back. Told her I had already talked to the hospital and they said I didn't owe nothing. She said they were wrong. I did owe this money. Well my Mom didn't raise a fool. So I hung up on them.

They keep calling looking for my brother who uses my number when he fills out a credit card application. that way, when he gets behind on the payments, they call my house.very nice of him isn't it?

Called asked for my brother. [he has been deceased for over 1 and 1/2 years] they were rude and did not believe me. They asked for his address and phone number. I gave them his address and phone [the cemetary address and phone] I told them he would most likely would be in, but doubtful he would be in a talkative mood. They said they would would contact him......hope they have psychics working for them!!!

I am receiving continuous calls from Infinity Group Receivables 1-800-450-0737. They have the wrong phone number for Theresa Mathes (479-641-0391). I have had my home and my unlisted non-published number for 1 year. Please do not call me again.

This place takes the cake!  Telling me that I have to pay $103 to some phone company I have never heard of.  First lady hung up on me when I told her to verify the debt.  I called back.  Second lady hung up when I asked for her supervisor.  I called back.  Third time asked for a supervisor.  Told her I wanted her to validate the debt.  She told me she would give me the phone number to call the phone company for that information.  I asked her why in the world I would want to do that...it was her job not mine to validate.  She said I would be turned over to collection.  I told her to do it quick, so I could get started on my law suit.  You guessed it...she hung up on me too..  These people are crazy!

This company has been calling our company since March concerning a Savannah Green. Yep.. since March.. have held on the line, talked to them... they say they will erase the number and still call. Time for action.

Same story about automated call, "If you are not, (blah blah blah), please hang up, if you are continue to listen...", and so on.

These days businesses are quick to "sell" uncollected debts to half assed collection agencies.  Even if the debt is legit it's almost impossible to enforce.  Legal debt or not, attorneys are expensive, usually more than the debt in question, that's why we get calls from morons who's intellectual skills are more suited to smoking crack than customer service.

From time to time my phone number will pop up on one of these agency's radars & the calls will start, sometimes persisting for a few weeks.

1. Never answer.  They can't establish or collect a debt from your answering machine or voice mail.

2. Never answer.  The automated call costs them nearly nothing.  It's only purpose is to make a person feel obligated and vulnerable.  If the system detects human interaction, any response you make at all, verbal, button pushing, your case then gets referred to an actual "Agent".  At that point it?s like having a human leech attached to your phone line.

If their system gets zero human response after a while, (sometimes it takes weeks), your phone number will eventually lose it's status in their inbox.  The calls will eventually stop.

Collection agencies are literally in every sense of the term, "bottom feeders" in the business world food chain.  Not actually providing any real service, product or resource, surviving on other business's cast off s***.

If you're actually receiving harassing calls, whether or not you owe a debt, do a little homework on the internet and respond with threats of legal action.  If you have good cause to report them to the authorities, do it.

Infinity Group has been calling my eleven year old son's cell phone looking for John Beauregard.  I have told these people over and over they are calling the wrong number and they cuss me and hang up.  I then went to their web site and left an email asking them to stop calling.  Somebody from the company then left a voice mail message on my son's phone describing in detail what he would like to do to me, which by the way is against the law.  I will find out who owns this company.  Surely they would like to know what their thug employees are doing to people.

I am sick to death of these phone calls.  I don't know who they are or what they want, but I plan to find out and sue them if I can.  I hope they read these, but I doubt it since they probably can't read anyway or understand what they are reading.  If you can't do anything else - you work for a bill collector and harass people.  Probably no education and no training, so this is the only job they can get.

Oh, and by the way, whoever you are, your little bit about staying on the line and admitting you are ____.  That's BS and it won't hold up in court.
