I too recieved a call with dead air from this number. It is indeed the Easter Seals and they have another number you can call to have your number put on their Do Not Call list. 1-800-882-9871.

Remember: Charities are exempt from the national Do Not Call list. Only businesses are mandated to comply.

This number called me this afternoon.  I'm on the DNC list so immediately asked to speak with a supervisor.  He came on the phone as said he was with Easter Seals.  I asked him to please put me on their do not call list.  He was rude and pushy, so I got rude and pushy back.  Too rude I know, but we all know how annoying these calls are.  So after I hung up he called back from a private number, called me a F&%$ing B*%&$ and hung up.  Yikes!  I called Easter Seals to let them know what happened.  This was one bad guy, not a bad organization.

This caller calls several times a day. Thank goodness for caller ID!

Just called again *sigh*... No one talking, just dead air.

800-713-5171 calls after 9 pm and no one on the line.  Whats going on.

Apparently this number is the Alberta Easter Seals... I just called it back and it's a recorded message.

Who is this maked stranger that ties up my phone -sometimes more than once a day.

This caller has been calling me several times a day and when I call back it say's that number is unavailable

Good and include every telemarketer and they may get the idea.

they have a do not call option at the customer service #800-882-9871. They pick up your caller Id and you press a number to be taken off their calling list... Ugh! Hopefully it works... This is really bugging me.

I too have received this call.  I just phoned it back and got another 1-800 number which I called and spoke to customer service.  Yes it is for Easter Seals and I told them I will not donate to them for the inconvenience they cause us.  I told them to take my number off their call list or I will press charges.  They said that they will remove my number so try it.

This is a telemarketer calling for donations for Easter Seals.

i have received call after call after call. they never leave a message, they phone every 5 min. when it is answered there is a great loud click noise then nothing. on my message machine its just a hang up sound.
