UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! I also received 2 calls from this # ! I do not answer calls I do not know. But messages were left also saying that my master card was locked due to security purposes!! I dialed *67, then the 800 # and it was disconnected, could not get through! I'm sure its because I blocked my phone #. What can be done about this "SCAM"???? I will call as many people as I have to, so this stops!! The owners and even the people who even work doing this, should get either a BIG FINE, or even JAIL TIME!!!! and if they have any credit cards they should be closed and they should NEVER be able to get another one ever again!! They probably, ALL have terrible credit scores anyway!!

This morning I got a call from this 800 #.  Was informed that my MC was frozen due to a security issue and was asked to provide my card and pin #s.  I hung up and called my MC provider.  Sure enough my card was not frozen and no one from the provider called me.  I then called the number back and got a recording that the # was not in service.

How can this go on so long?  The trail of messages goes back to 2011.

Got the same message that everyone else has lately regarding a compromised prepaid MasterCard and to press 1 to unlock it.  I knew it was a scam (mainly because I don't have a MasterCard, let alone a prepaid one) but was curious enough about what the next step to press 1.  I laughed heartily and hung up after it asked for a 16 digit card number.

I just got a call from them telling me that my PRE-PAID Mastercard has been locked for security reasons.

Obviously a scam because I have a Platinum AMEX. I don't have a pre-paid mastercard.

Nice try idiots!! I have Call Controller on my cell phone. This number is now in my blacklist. They won't bug me again.

I got one of these calls a few minutes ago on my voice mail about my membership card being locked; I immediately checked my email and NetSpend site just in case and saw no evidence of it being locked.

Then I looked up the number along with NetSpend's name to confirm it was a scam. Lousy con artists.

Please report this to the FBI or FTC or whomever regulates telephone scams.  Call asks to press 1 because prepaid Mastercard is locked.

I got this call on my cell phone Call came in at 12.19am. I didn't answer this call. But played back voice message :  7 second voice mail said "press 1 to unlock". nothing else was said. Like an idiot I pressed one, then nothing else was said. I tried to call back but not in service.  I feel stupid, I don't even have a Mastercard. Should I call Barclays credit card fraud service?

I got this call too. Obviously a scam. Fun fact: you can report this at fcc.gov - if enough complaints are received, the scammers will be investigated and potentially brought to justice.

I got a bunch of these today.  The message is now "your prepaid mastercard has been deactivated, please press # to continue."

Clearly they are hoping to get enough information to steal your financial identity.
