All you have to do is tell them to stop calling you work and if the call again, sue them!!! Any consumer attorney will take the case and get you paid and you debt will also get paid by the morons.

Recording just said this was not a telemarketing call and they were not selling anything and that it was just an important business matter and asked to call 800-723-2331 and give my phone number to them when they answer. NOT HAPPENING !  It was a recording that called, not a live human being. The number they called from was 877-659-6860

they call every day but wont say exactly what they want!!! so annoying!!!!

They are always calling while I am working at my job. What I have to do now? I tried to call them back but they always left the voicemail?. I am so scared and worried now, I dont to be get fire from work because of this phone line.

I have received calls from this debt collection agency. It was a recording with an account number. I called back with the account number and they were looking for someone else. They took my number off of the account right away. If you lie and you are the persomn they are trying to reach, collection companies have very sophisticated systems to find out who is calling them even if your number is unlisted. When you call them back, they don't hide who they are. They just won't tell you what the account is if you are not the person they are looking for, which is only right and the law. I would sue if they told someone about my account. As far as the do not call registry, you have it all wrong. That is for telemarketers, not collection companies. They don't fall under the do not call list. They aren't calling to sale you anything. Look it up if you don't believe me.

They keep leaving recorded messages on my phone too, even after being advised the debt that they are tryng to collect belongs to someone that hasnt had my number for over a year. I have reported them to the do not call registry. I still get automated recorded messages and calls from them

Collections Unlimited of Texas has been calling me weekly for over a year and a half, even though I have advised them that the party that they are trying to collect a debt from, has not had the number they are calling for over two years. I have reported them to the Do Not Call Registry repeatedly. Collections Unlimited of Texas is very rude on the phone and does not care about the do not call list laws or about harassing innocent 3rd parties.
