Just received a call from a jim guy couldn't really hear to clearly....
in between all the talking it would cut out for periods of time which I found to be very annoying.
He then told me that someone from my household had went on their website, which is how he got my number.
All I needed to do was go on their website profinity for a free credit score check, participate in a survey and
I would get a $50 gift card from walmart...and kept telling me that's all he wanted to do was get the card to me. So by walking me through the website, just fill all the blanks and @no cost to me get free membership for a week...and yes it did require
a credit card number...but I didn't trust him.phone numbers he called from 8162950606 and 8162956128
This is so scary...

All this is a scam they mentioned several times that they were not trying rto sell me anything but desperately needed my card number you would not believe how real it sounded! I just had a weird feeling and if you ever get that feeling please don't do it!

thanks for advising to not fill out surveys on line - b/c that's why i'm getting all these calls now; now I know why!  ugh!

Here's a brilliant idea, don't fill out the the internet surveys that are obviously ploy to get your information to call you.

I did a survey online and on July 25, 2011 I received a phone call from profinity gift baskets. They told me that I had won a $25.00 gift certificate from Home Depot and a $25.00 gift certificate for the restaurant of my choice. They said to look on my e-mails for "profinity gift baskets". However, upon going to my e-mail, I realized that I had previously deleted it, thinking they were trying to sell me a gift basket. (On the phone, they said I could print out the 2 gift certificates). I tried to look for it in "trash" and "Spam" but there was nothing in the trash or spam, so I could not print out the 2 gift
c ertificates. So I was disappointed that I c ould not print out the 2 gift certificates, since as I said, I had in error deleted the e-mail from profinity gift baskets. They did not ask me for any credit card numbers, etc., however.

I have been scammed as well! The number (816) 295-0606 was called backed, and the message replied, if you received a call from this number, it is about the recent order you've placed, please leave name and number so we can process your order. I googled the number to be a telepest scam. I will contact the Attorney General and FBI if I get a call again.

whatever! rings once....called back....just recording of crap.....SCAM no doubt....get a real job that pays money, and stop selling snake oil.

I am wondering this samething.  I keep getting a call from that same number.  I have not answered it.  I googled & found info about a caller scam.  I figure if they are ligit they would leave a message.

one more time the scams are a dime a dozen..........give them no info, especially credit card info....
PROFINITY.COM/ GIFT BASKET ..............should be investigated but i imagine by this time they are
not to be found or on to their next scam.

Got a call from 8162950606 a few minutes ago on Saturday 5/28 at 10:20am.  The man identified himself as Rafael and it concerned a Walmart $1000 giftcard.

i got a call from this number saying that i won a 50 dollar prize and i didnt know what to say they didnt want any payments or any of my info so if anyone knows what going on plz let me know?

I got a call from 816 295 0606 this morning supposedly from Profinity Save.  I filled out a survey on line and I had one a gift basket and gas card and wal mart shopping card. The list of wonderful gift cards went on and on. I just had to spend $15.96 for a subscription to the Profinity Save. She gave me the web address and asked that I sign on so I could see what all they offer. I could cancel at any time.  But I had to give her my credit card over the phone. When I told her that no way was I giving my credit card to a stranger over the phone when THEY called me, she laughed and said lots and lots of people do! I said well lots and lots of people are idiots looking for something for nothing too and then they get ripped off.   She said she was just soooooooooo sorry I she couldnt give me my wonderful gifts.   Who in their right minds gives a credit card number to a stranger when they called YOU?  My Momma didnt raise no fool!

They called several times to tell me that they were a "secure billing" group for HealthBuy.com, and that I had to verify my billing information with them before my package could be shipped.  I have purchased items from this company before without this extra measure, so I thought this to be somewhat strange.  I verified my contact information, then they tried to tell me that I was eligible for a $50 bonus on top of my order since I had ordered with them online.  I declined, and they told me I could receive a $25 bonus.  I again declined, and they thanked me for my time and hung up.  My guess is they are a third-party telemarketing company that HealthBuy.com has solicitated to upsell more products.  I don't see any harm in it yet, but will let you know if my checking accounts are cleared out or anything awry happens!!
