Called and recorded message indicated attempt to collect a debt. This was received at my work phone number for my husband.

Got a call at 8:45 Pm today for my sister-in-law. A woman identified herself as Shanika, she did not say what company she was from ( and refused to tell me, when I repeatedly asked ), she only told me that it was regarding a paralegal issue. Googled the phone # and found out that they are a collection agency. Legimate collection agencies would send you a letter.

Got a call at 2:45 this afternoon for a "Fredrico Zambrano". Recording said "this is not a sales or marketing call" but did not give the name of the company. Hung up. Called number back and they said number would be removed from their system.

Said they were from a collection agency (Harbor Collections?) and to call back. Legimate collection agencies would have sent something in the mail or would say what debt they are calling about. Bogus call.
