Travel fax spam.

The only thing to do is:
Dial *67 to block your outgoing #
Dial 1-800-723-4907
talk to the answerer, swear at him/her, read aloud, do anything. The most important thing is to keep them on the line. By doing this whenever you have time you 1. force them to pay for the incoming 800# call. 2. Keep them away from selling fraudulent vacations. 3. Relieve your frustrations.
Do it as often as possible.
Tell all your friends.
Persevere!
It's a great country!

I get a fair amount of these faxes, so I decided to have some fun with them. Please post any junk (and only junk, I will check) 800 numbers you have so I can have some more fun.

getting these fax offers and when I call the removal number it always says it is diconnected. I called the 800 offer number and they were very rude and I told them if this won't stop I will report them to the FCC, as soon as they got my fax number they hung up.... well, what rude people!!

Be sure to report illegal junk faxes. The FCC is complant-driven. The more complaints they get about something the better the chances they will take action.

We keep getting this junk fax from this www.lowestpricecancun.com SCAM SCAM SCAM vacation scam package!!!! Guess what... they are a scam and will not remove you from the list NO matter what you say to them. DO "NOT" give them any of your information (ie: fax number, home number, or credit card number....).
Instead, do what we are doing to pay them back... Fax it back using caller id block *67 to the toll free numbers they keep changing on every junk fax to you.
Just do: *67 1(800) 723-4907
Remember this, each time you send it back and they answer it will cost them a min of 10 cents on thier toll free billing statement each month. Sure they hangup but remember, what comes around goes around!!!! Do not hesitate to tell them what you are going to do. In addition, you can submitt a complaint to the FCC on the Junk Fax you receive. Website is:
http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm
and just click on the FCC Junk Fax tab and follow the instructions....very easy!!!
Have fun like us everytime we are by our fax machine! Hit redial as many times and just walk away....then upon return just keep faxing it back and letting them pickup and hear the fax tone!!!!!!! Enjoy like us! :)

BOGUS fax for a vacation for 6 days in Cancun $149.00
How unreal is that?? Why would anyone call the number for a vacation that is simply not true?
Any company that does not acknowledge themselves clearly in a fax like this is a fraud.
Their 866-577-1650 number for fax removal is just as bogus as the 800 number.
| Amy 2008-09-05 01:06:13 Unknown |
I just called this number and threaten that if they did not take me off their fax list, I was going to take it to the FCC and file a complaint.
I had call the opt-out number listed at least 10 times and it didn't stop. We'll see what happens.

If I'm ever in doubt I look up the company name with the BBB. As this fax has no company name listed, it is definitely a scam. I would never trust any advertisement that is trying to hide something.

Of course it's not truthful. It's a complete unwanted travel fax SCAM. NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS IN RESPONSE TO A FAX ADVERTISEMENT. EVEN THE MOST DIMWITTED PERSON SHOULD KNOW THAT!
