DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER!!!!   Call the phone number on the back of your credit card to verify.

Some one called saying they are from Wells Fargo Foreign Services and were calling to verify foreign transaction and that we should call back at the 800 number. Upon calling that number the automated service provided another number starting with 10 to be called with credit card information ready. We hung up and called the bank directly and they told us that the 800 number provided was not their number and that there is no dept like Wells Fargo Foreign services. And that no one from the bank had called. They are of course monitoring my account for any fraudulent activity.
