That is the same man that called me. Is it a scam? It sounded pretty good for everyone if it wasn't. Sooo many mixed reviews

I got the call to. His name is John???? for a start up & monthly fee my business would be available for my entire State to use at a discounted rate. My business was recommended, but they don't know by whom... I see so many mixed reviews. I checked the BBB. They don't have much at all about them. hmmmm. Anybody actually gave them $$$$? if it were legit it could be great, but ???? Thanks

This place is a complete scam. I worked there for a short time. It's high pressure commissioned sales. Everyone there is a piece of s*** with no conscience. You are taught a specific pitch with responses for any objections and the ultimate goal is to land a credit card number by the end of the call. (If someone wants to wait or do their own research you aren't soposed to allow that, because you will most likely not close the sale, uhh red flag much?) They make it appear to the new sales people that it's a legitimate business but a few months in when you start recieveing angry phone calls and emails about how unsuccessful the program proves to be you are basically told to ignore it and it's pretty clear what a scam they are running. I felt terrible because I was tempted by the prospect of high commissions and unfortunately did very well making sales. I quit because there is no way I could live with myself ripping people off on a daily basis! Any positive review you see is written by a manger who spends half the day attempting to protect and hide their online reputation. Hopefully I can save a few people the trouble with this and make up for my regrettable time at this horrible company.

They want a pet trainer for Dunkins' employees? Say whaaaa? It's pretty obvious this is a SCAM.

The letter of verification they sent me from the VA gave no contact info just a name and also asked that no calls be place to the VA as they need to keep their lines open for business.  If this were a valuable service, why the high pressure sales pitch? "You have to decide by Tuesday, otherwise we will go with a different provider." If it is such a good deal, the salespeople would not be so duplicitous in showering you with flattery making you feel as though you were the chosen beauty show contestant and then hastily saying the crown would cost you $595!

Ooh, caps lock key on and doesn't know how to spell "business". There's an endorsement to follow.

No one called me from the 37.000 employes, I call to cancel, and took me 5 days of calling everyday, and no call back or answer.

I worked there. They are total scammers.

I was trained by Deb Abbale and Mary as they were the sales managers. They require you to follow a pitch precisely while listening in your headset or phone to see if you deviate from the pitch. if somebody sends an objection your way, there are about 15 different objections on your cubicle wall that you have to read directly off of and once read, go right back to your pitch. That's salesmanship. They go by a quota that each week, you need to come up with at least $2000 in sales.

Their whole premise is that their clients (Which themselves are pitched the idwa that they can receive perks for their employees in order to sign up) will have their employees submitted with perks cards, or discount cards. The idea is to try and sell about 8-10 businesses within a certain mile radius of where their clients are. The problem is EVERY business I contacted...literally everyone..called and complained saying they received no business. I felt awful because I understand that if business are doing well,we would eb also.

P.S..ANY person on here writing "positive reviews" works for the company period.

I believe Obi became a manager when I left there but their turnover ratio is over 70%.

Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Alumni Association  , amongst thousands of other corporations across the US distribute a Perks program for their Alumni. The program is based upon helping the alumni save money on a variety of services. Services that range from restaurants, health & wellness, family fun, retail stores, home services and professionals. The poster received an email  from Perks, the company that designs each of the programs. The programs vary as far as the types of business offering discounts, the method of distribution and the actual product. There are multiple forms of marketing materials that range from newsletters, email updates, website listings, logo placements, and mobile app listings.

To verify that you did receive a call from a viable Perks employee, simply ask to speak with the contact of the organization in question. With who can verify that they are in fact offering the program and the call you received was warranted.

I just got a call on my cell from 631-870-4339 but I got an email first and the email phone number listed is the one above.  I am a massage therapist and pretty much the same thing.  Wonderful great company University of Missouri in KC specifically asked for a LMT and my discounts are perfect and on an on and then the sales pitch.  he got a little upset with me when I told him I was already paying for advertisement and wouldn't use his.

I got a call from Christina Seibert [cseibert@perkscard.com].  She said that I spoke with someone from her company and she was following up.  (I don't remember that conversation.)  Anyway, after all my research, I think this COULD be a viable option for marketing.  HOWEVER, assuming all their claims are true, the fact that they claim to target a finite number of people within a specific company, the chances of your ROI being worth the effort I find slim to none.  The fact that so many people have complained on the web about them, compounds the issue.  I declined the offer.  Instead, I've opted to ask the hospital they claimed to work with to set up a booth on their next employee appreciation day- for free.

This is a SCAM! I was told that I would be an invitation provider for a well known hospital. However, for $198.00 and 4 free months, I'm sorry, 5 months because she (liked me!), I was told that the entire hospital would order from my company. Now, I told her I would have to research this and boy did she step up the selling tactics! She stated there is only ONE space left and that she can't hold it for very long.

I told her again, I will contact you after I done my research in 1hr. She was heart broken but agreed to keep the space for 1hr open. I googled this 'perks connect' and the first few results had 'SCAM' in it. lol! So, I sent her the link to this forum and declined all the wonderful business this hospital was to provide me.

The only perk I would get is NO headaches from a false company like this. Thanks Perks Connect!

This is the second call from Augeo that I received.   She said her address was Oval Drive, Islandi, NY 11749.  She said she had just started working there and that is why it took several minutes to get the aforementioned address.

Affinity Programs are stupid.  Please stop telemarketing my business with your disingenious approach.  I don't care if your business is legit;  your business tactics are suspect;  Abe Delgado is welcome to perform a sex act upon himself.

Received an e-mail & call from Abe Delgado pitching PerksCard services for two healthcare organizations in Maine. Our investment firm would receive exclusive access to over 1,000 physicians, etc. I was suspicious, but asked for contacts, references, etc.  I was e-mailed an official looking letter and called the contact.  Name, address and phone number appeared to be legit but a heavy New York accent is not something one hears alot in Portland, Maine. It was a pretty elaborate scheme. I was given a second name and number, but that person was conveniently on vacation.  This thing has scam written all over it.

Well, Julie192, if you think that a legitimate business is one that resorts to lying and misrepresenting... and what amounts to fraudulent claims, then you certainly deserve their wonderful services.

So let me ask you... if "Jenifer" calls me up and tells me that she is a "plan administrator" for Horizon Blue Cross but instead turns out to be a telemarketer for Augeo which has a subsidiary called Perkscard... This is what you are calling a legitimate company?
