Sick and tired of these scam artists "total Credit Recovery" merchants phoning and leaving call back numbers
416-758-2361/ext 3952 and 416-756-2361/ ext 5080. They claim to want to talk about something but only if you give out personal infirmation. DO NOT GIVE ANYONE YOU DON'T KNOW, PERSONAL INFORMATION.
Have an AIR HORN ready and give a blast down the phone.

said his name was Hosea and was calling from the ministry of finance. he left this number and an extension. could barely understand him

This number has left 22 messages on my answering Machine and it is annoying and it fills up my machine and I miis messags that are actually important.   Same as I read above they threaten that I must call back by 10:25 the next morning.   If someone knows of how to get them to stop calling please let me konw.

Call your trustee, which is who should have done your consumer proposal. Let him/her know what is going on.

Hey guys - I did a consumer proposal last year and my student loans were included in it. Faithfully paying for the past year, and also will continue to do so for the next 4 years till the proposal is done. Now total credit recovery is calling me and harrassing me for the same student loans that is included and is being paid for in the consumer proposal. Anyone have any insight into this ? Thanks in advance !

I get calls daily from these guys .. its always automated.. I never return their calls...  I have about 15,000 in debt right now to about 6 different places ... seriously folks.... when I have it... they'll get it ... calling my butt ten times a day is not going to get you paid any faster... when everything melted down in  08 I got the sh*t end of the stick...  I know I owe money... get over it ... I did!

having the EXACT same thing happening to me. But they are claiming that my taxes did not clear it up. Uh, yes it did, they have held it for 4 years, and then released part of last years since it was paid off. Rude in the extreme, I'm actually ignoring them now.

Keep receiving voice mail messages from this company & being asked to call this number.  No return number shows up on the call display?how do I stop them from calling?

They just called me at 6AM, luckily I'm awake and about to leave work at that time.  

I missed the call but called them back telling them that if they ever call me at 6AM again I will pursue legal action (and no it is not an empty threat).

I had one collections agency call me asking for someone who is not me (nor do I know them).  They called 7 times in one day, when I did get a chance to answer, I told them they were in violation of several laws, one being they can't call you (in canada at least) before 8am I think it is, second they cant call more than 3x per week and 3rd I already told them they had the wrong person and to not call me again or they would be faced with legal action that would definately hurt them (and help me ;))

This all stemmed from me changing my phone number because telemarketers wouldn't stop calling my phone, then after the change this is now the 3rd collection agency trying to reach a "Marlon Web"

I have no idea who that person is or what they owe but I'm getting very tired of this, the only debt I have is $10,000 for my car (never missed a payment) and $2400 for an engagement ring (paying off 100% this friday, and no its not late), I've never had a late payment in my life and hopefully never will.

Yeah, imagine that alright, nice try considering you didn't have any to begin with but probably make them instead..

I spoke to Amanda as well. She got me a settlement that saved me a bit of money, I paid my bill after being a deadbeat for years haha!! Oh well, at least this is over and done with. Oh yeah, the phone calls stopped too. Imagine that

This guy " Mickey Sing" has been calling me for almost a year, 3x a day on behalf of total credit recovery pertaining to my student loan.

Initially I gave them the time of day to discuss options, however I was presented with little to no options that were realistic to resolve this matter.

I spoke with a manager, who in turn became the rudest lady to deal with, in which I couldn't even have a mature conversation with by the end of it.

I realized that day that if I am going to pay the remaining portion of this debt, that I would only do so if I was dealing with professional individuals with realistic objectives.  I think I would rather go to court to settle this as I would at least kn ow who I'm sending money to and that everything is completed legitimately.

To add insult to injury, the government of Canada informed me that they lost all of my information due to an employee losing a database of sensitive information.  This also makes it harder for me to trust anyone calling that won't divulge their information and accreditation.

To finish this rant, I have to say that this company should be a contender for the Guinness Book of Records for the worst trained personal.

we recently got a new phone number and a long distance number (1-800-727-4145) keeps calling and leaving messages that we have an outstanding debt, which we obviously don't have. They say they're from Total Credit Recovery.

Not sure yet who I need to report this to. But I definitely would want their calls blocked. They call at such random times!

I also received a call from this phone number.  They were looking for an individual with the same last name as myself.  I requested that they remove my phone number immediately from their file, and she pleasantly agreed to do so within 24 hrs.  The company is a collection agency Total Collection Recovery.  The Gal was accommodating and her name was Amanda.

Stop scamming people who don't have debt. Stop calling me and harassing me. I WILL get all of you in trouble you bunch of no good low lifes!  Get a real job.

These people continuoulsy call me . Ive been yelled at by almost every single person ive talked to. I suggest people that are getting involved with this business pull out a line of credit with their banks to pay off long term debts and pay the bank instead. dont risk losing your money and getting frustrated with unproffesional ignorant money suckers and play it safe. If you cant get a lin eof credit through your bank then call the place you owe the monies too and discuss a different dayment plan and credit agency and tell them about this situation that theyve been putting you in. This business is completely unprofessional.

I got the same call, good thing I checked online to see who theses people are.

these guys claim that they need to confirm I am some other guy and have the assiduity to keep calling and will not stop calling so I just call block them. my service has a nasty message they put on when they call.

Important info....canadian residents please read this.  My mom received the same call yesterday evening...recorded message and left the 1-800 # with a name of McKeesing or something like that and asked to call back by 10:05 the next morning to resolve the matter.  I called the Consumers Protection Branch (these guys are great) and asked them to look this number up.  They couldn't find it so they called the number for me and it's Total Credit Recovery Limited located at 225 Yorkland Blvd, North York.  They have different depts handling different things and the operator asked me what the 1-800 call back number was....she then transferred me to "Government Assistant"  or atleast I think that's what she said so I'm assuming they take care of debts with the government as well.  Anway, to make a long story short, I spoke with someone there and they told me they were looking for this certain person who DOES NOT LIVE at my mom's address.  I explained this to them and told them to stop all calls as they had the wrong number and she said she would remove my mother's name from the system.  Anytime you have calls coming to your home that DO NOT belong to you, call the Consumers Protection Branch and they will help and assist you in what to do next.

It's a collection company for government.....

I got my new phone number in June 2012 and since then I've had nothing but these harassing messages left from collections agencies for someone who obviously was the previous owner of my new number.  I've made several complaints to Bell Canada about this and was told that an email would be sent to their Executive Office to resolve the matter.  Thus far, not a word from Bell.  I sent my own email to Bell and nothing.  I believe the whole problem here is that Bell is outsourcing jobs to countries all over the world and now these people are getting hold of all of our personal information and making use of it.

Many voice messages left were from this Micky Singh concerning an outstanding business matter also to call him by a certain time.  This is more than annoying.
