My husband purchased this just today and when it should up on our account it showed it was from Moscow Russia. I am now going to cancel his charge card. I hope it's not to late.

I got charged by Creativity-soft.com for $99.77 in May of 2010.  The charge was supposedly for $2.95.  Never did get anything out of it.  I went thru my bank (Bank of America) to file a dispute.  Just got back an answer from them. They "determined that no error has occured in this instance."  So they were no help.

I had the same thing and got a new card, and just checked and have a new charge from them with completely new credit card!

Seems we were lucky then... $33.71 charged to our card 12 May.... never even realised until I saw the currency conversion fee... i guess it could have been a virus protection thing in our houselhold too...will contact the bank.

Somone from creativity.com just took £68.79 from my account, cheeky b*****ds.. now i'm on my way to the local bank to sort it out.. wish me luck..

I just got had for 79.50, called and phone just rings.  The site looked like Mcafee with all the windows.  DONT BUY IT!

I work for a major bank in the U.S. Every day I'd get one customer with a charge like this. I would just call 800-407-9087 or 800-730-0612 and ask for a refund. A gentleman with a Russian accent would put the process through and in 7-10 business days their account would be refunded. They have a 30-day no questions asked refund policy. Now, however, that phone number only rings busy. I'm at a loss too. Creativity-soft.com and worldwide-software.com are the same company. Hope that helps.

I just when for a $1.95 download and they have tried to bill my credit card for a whopping £2,991.85.

I contacted the CC company and put a block on my card. Can't use it, very stressed!  If this is happening to lots of people perhaps the CC companies should have them on some watchlist or something.  Isn't fraud on this scale a police matter?

The company charged $103.04 from my account, I reported to my bank for investigation. They are scamming many people.

Same story.  Got a fraud call from my CC company.  Creativity-Soft.com, $487.00.  Never heard of them but the charge is from moscow.  Never bought software, never been to the site.  CC company dispute is pending.  BEWARE!

I recieved the same charge on my cc from creativity-soft. when the software was downloaded it left a icon on my desktop called Data Protection Support. I opened it and it has a 24/7 phone # 1(866) 427-1693. I called the number and someone answered it from Cali. He agreeded to give me a refund. I will belive it when I see it. Hope this helps

Probably out of the money...Noticed "others' were worse...

I was also charged 103 euro on may 14 2010 for the "security tool" that claimed to cost 49.99 dollars. will ring my bank tomorrow. thanks to all who posted.

Joe,  The exact same thing happened to me.  I am so upset!!! I called my cc company and I hope that it is resolved.  Like you, I feel very stupid for falling for this scam. I hope they get caught.  I will never trust the internet again.  Good luck to all of you "scam ees".

my mcafee anti virus had expired so they said i could renew for $49.99 and it would be good for 2 years so i did that and they took out $51.32 out of my visa debit account! thank goodness it wasnt my actual bank card but i still want my money back. creativity soft.com is responsible for this and i cant get a hold of them either because the phone will not ring.  i hope someone will find these people and make them be responsible for all of these people they have ripped off thats not very nice of them!!!!!!CROOKS!!!!

I just reviewed my credit care bill and had a $98.78 charge from Creativity-Soft-Com Moscow, Russia plus a $2.96 foreign transaction fee.  I keep track of every charge that I make and am not aware of receiving any goods or services from this company, so just put the charge in dispute with my credit card company.  Around the time of the charge I remember by son wanting to get a 3 day trial on a site with products you could download for $5 and I put in my credit card information for him to do this.  II don't no for sure.  This is pure speculation, but 'm guessing that this may have been the transaction that gave this company my credit card number.  I looked up the company on the web to ask about the charge, figuring maybe it was a mistake, wanting to tell me what they sold me and / or give them a chance to do something before putting this in dispute, but in each of three calls to the number, the phone never rang.  I tried a different phone on the third call to make sure it wasn't my phone.
