They have been calling me too.  They use the name of a person who does not reside at my home and leave at least one message a day.  I too, am on the "Do Not Call" list.  This is an annoyance and because of it I will deliberately boycott KAY JEWELERS.  Also, I have never bought from Kay Jewelers  or any other jeweler in my area.  In these economic times I they are using hard sell tactics and that really turns me off.

I have been getting calls from this number lately, too.  I do have a Kay charge and a Beldens charge.  (I had Belden's and they made me get Kay, too.  They would no longer accept my Beldens card at Kay.  It is the same account number and everything; just a different company name on the card!)  But I do not owe them anything.  I am, however, a good customer so now that I know who it is, they will hear from me!  I am on the do not call list so if they are telemarketing, it is illegal. But they make it sound like a collection call.

It is definelteley Kay Jewelers or someone from any of their family of companies. I get calls but I do owe them money. Filing Chptr 7 so that that!. In any event as a past COllections Manager, it is perfectly ok to call from 8am to 9pm. According to FDCA laws. It is not illegal to call at 8am and I get calls sometines up to 8:50pm!!!! It is within their rights to do so. If you don;t want calls, pay the bill, file BK or chamge your number. Good luck!

I've been having HUGE problems with this same phone number! They call me twice a day, morning and evening. Sometimes they call me just after 8am...illegal, by law, if it's telemarketing. Anyway, when I used to pick up the call (I ignore it now, but it's always the same number, and they leave voice mail), I'd get some automated voice telling me to call back at that same number that was calling me, and that my jeweler was trying to get in contact with me. Funny thing is, I don't have a jeweler. I haven't bought any jewelry lately, don't owe money for any jewelry, and I haven't even walked into a jewelry store. As I've mentioned, they leave voice mail if I don't pick up the call, and the voice mail is pretty much the same thing...telling me to call that number. It's getting on my last nerve because this has been going on for over a month or two now, and I'd like to be able to take my cell phone off of "silent."

this number is just one of many for kay jewlers. these people need to be investigated. sometimes they leave a recorded message sometimes they don't.i h told them many times that the person they want does not live here.these people are idiots and dumber than a BAG OF HAMMERS.

Operator claimed to be calling from Kay Jewelers.  She asked if I was "Christopher" (NOT my first name) and my correct last name.  I assured her she had the wrong number.  It sounded like a collection agency.
