Keep getting these calls with no voice message! When I answer it says please hold, connecting, your call is very important to us...then I hang up!

EVERY FRIGGIN' DAY AT LEAST 2 PHONE CALLS!  YES ITS CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS.  I have the minimum service from Charter.  I won't give them a penny more than I have to.  The apartment building I live in has an exclusivity contract with them for 20 years because they wired the buildings at no cost to the builders.  I want my Direct T.V. back, but can't have it in my apartment.  I hate Charter with a purple passion.  I am paying for the same for basic cable (12 channels) that I paid for my Direct T.V. package (102 channels)

They called me constantly. Every day. I filled out the privacy thing that someone posted above but they still called. Finally answered one day saying they got a quick survey.

First question was asking if I used a landline or just a cell phone.

Second question is do you use the internet and do you own a laptop? Told them I don't own a laptop and go to local library for internet even though I was talking to the representative while surfing the web on my laptop using a shared wi-fi with apartment neighbor.

Haven't called since.

Yep, it's Charter Communications.  We've got an apartment in Asheville, NC so that our family can have a place to stay when we visit our mother in a nearby assisted living facility.  We've got Charter's basic cable for the TV, and when they call, we repeatedly tell them it's all we want, no more.  They keep calling, though, because they can --we've got a "business relationship" with them, and so they ignore our "please don't call" requests.

Solution?  Just don't answer anymore....

Charter Communications solicitation call. They call me weekly with "great offers from Charter". I can't make them stop either.
