keep offering credit cards and ask for personal info

It is Discover card, a credit offer. They'd been calling me several times a day. Finally I called the number back, upset, and they removed me from their call list.

This number calls me everyday and they don't get it THAT I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANY OF THEIR OFFERS (whoever they are)!!!

They keep calling and no message........  5 or 6 times a day.....

this # calls us 5-6 times daily they never leave a message so do not know whom is calling.

Prank call is getting old :(

Does someone know who calls from this number.

This is a Discover card offer, I called back and demanded them to take my number off the list and they said you can also go to donotcall.gov and have your number removed from the list!

They call here 3 to 4 times a day and get my French Butler answering machine and they hang up quickly probably thinking they miss dialed and got France. You'd think one of these days they would get tired of hearing the French Dudes Voice.

Discover Card. Not sure if it's legit or not, but I told the very pushy telemarketer that I was not interested. Kept going on and on about why I should have one and I kept saying NO. This was last week and they still keep calling.

Never say YES, YEAH, or OKAY to anything they ask... they are recording your answers, and could use it to say you agreed to something you did not.

This number calls my home 3 times a day for my 4 year old son, I tell the man this is his mother, why are you calling for my young son, and all they keep saying is "i'll call back later" and he hangs up on me everytime. This is very disturbing, I don't know what to do!!!

My husband and I have had calls from this number. Answered but no one ever picked up the call. I found out it is a Discover Promotion and we don't and have never had a Discover card. Also after the annoying calls will NOT get a Discover card.

Jerks - they call... then there is nothing but silence on the other end. Probably waiting for their monitors to burp up the name of whom they're trying to scam.

Please stop the calls from this number multipule calls in a day and even on sunday and late in the night!!! please make them stop!

They seem to call me a few nights a week, and they let it ring about 10 times before they give up if I don't answer. I just don't understand the endgame here. I've told them I have several cards I'm happy with, I'm not carrying a balance on any of them and I simply do not want another. What do they think has changed since last night that I'd suddenly accept the offer tonight? It seems like a tremendous waste of their time, and mine too.

I've gotten so fed up with all these #'s calling me that whenever they call i just hit talk then end to hang up on them.So far it's worked with 3#'s that have been calling me.

Here's what you can do. GO to Youmail! It is free! I would not tell you all this if it wasn't. Go on there and get the service. Add this puppy to your cell phone. Its a bank of msg. for your voice mail on your cell. You get a thing called Ditch Calls. Get that! Add this dosey to your cell voice mail call box. Then imput the #800-754-4931 as ditch mail add "This number has been disconnected ect.". Transfer your home # to your cell phone for a week or however long it takes to get rid of these Phone Thugs! When they call your home # it will go to your cell phone which in turn goes stright to the Voice Mail. It will still ring but hit ignore call on your cell phone. And the Msg. will come up. "This # is no longer in service or ect." It brought a tear to my eye knowing these thugs are left with a dead line. Switch your phone back when you feel the calls have stopped.

They've called 6 times in the last 6 hours. I was letting the answering machine get it (but they leave no message) but then they woke up my son after they called at 8pm. The man said he was with Discover card (probably not) barely spoke English, asked me to verify personal information and got very rude once I told him I was no interested and to not call me again. I called the number back to make sure I was taken off the list. A different person answered said he apologized and would not be calling again. We'll see...I still think it's scam using Discover's name.

I called this number using *67 and a recording answered stating that I received this call from Discover with an offer for Credit Card and to press 1 if I want more info about the offer.

According to my phone system, I have received 11 calls from 800-754-4931 from 12:45 PM Eastern December 8 until 6 PM December 10.

These people have called 20 times this month, even though I tell them we aren't interested in a Discover Card.  They demand an explaination, but I  keep telling them we don't want or need one and to please stop calling.  I finally called the number back and the customer service lady said she'd take my number off the list.  You'd think they'd do that the first 20 times I told the caller that I wasn't interested and to stop calling. Crossing my fingers...

I just got a call from a woman with very hard-to-understand English. She claimed she was from Discover and seemed to keep asking questions trying to get a "yes" response.  I was very careful to avoid giving any kind of affirmative answer and told her several times I wasn't interested. I didn't give out any personal info.  I finally told her I was not interested and while she searched for the appropriate response on her script, I hung up.  Be very careful to never say "yes", "yeah", or any other affirmative answer when you're talking to these people.

They call at least twice a day, I don't answer unknown callers, but they were calling too many times, when I called back it is for a Discover Card and don't give you an option to remove you from their call list.

I am in the Do-not Call list and I have not given permission, don't have any discover card and after this, I will never get a discover card.

I have filed an online FCC complaint http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm.

Okay I did contact the Better Business Bureau and got a formatted email back on how to apply to be on a do not call list, not alot of help. However I did contact my local Sherriff department spoke with a secretary to the sherriff and she had a one of the investigators call me back, I gave him the details and he said it is way past harassment and he would call the number and speak with someone. He emailed me back said he was promised I and my husband have been removed from their list, and if I get another call after today I'm to call him back and file a formal complaint, which will have the company investigated for harassment and or stalking since they also call me at work. There is a way to get even if you want to try.

I get calls from 800-754-4931 4-5 times a day 7 days a week, they are looking to get me to get a Discover card. They have even gone so far as to find out where I work and call me at work!! I have called the number back and asked to have me name removed from their call list to no avail. I have since contacted the Better Business Bureau and my local Sherriff department for help. They called me at 10pm last night, after having been in the hospital with a sick child all day and the guy couldn't understand why I was so rude to him for calling about a great offer from Discover, what a jerk!!

These people call from two to ten times a day. Its real annoying, I've tried everything from trying to get them to stop calling but they won't anyone have any ideas

So is it an actual Discover offer. I do not want a card but the lady gave me all this info to verify it was not a scam call and I call Discover, several people have no clue what I am talking about another is on board until I get to the part where the caller said she was at Americall in South Bend IN and says they have no reps there? I am so irritated, they call all the time. I did not give my ssn.
