Not every collection agency is bad. Just the ones that hire low skilled employees, who often can't find/keep work where they deal with the public regularly. In frustration for not meeting quotas they lash out to anyone that give them room. Working in collections before, I can tell with absolutely certainty, that you get more compliance with honey than with vinegar. These folks that badger and threat are from the bottom of the barrel, including management. Because no good manager/supervisor would tolerate potential backlash for unprofessional behavior.

I suggest everyone record the calls without informing the caller, before you get as much information as you can on their name, the company they represent, the debt, then inform them the call is being recorded. every subsequent call after getting their information you inform them that the call will be recorded for all future reference. They will act right, or stop calling.  I have never had medical debt, have great insurance for the past 20 years. and received a call from this number, I told them they had the wrong number, and was all but called a liar. I took out my recorder, and recorded about 15 seconds of the call, and played it back loud enough to interrupt his speaking, and the phone went silent until the dial tone broke the silence.

these people KEEP calling and this is not our phone number! it is my grandmothers. its been registered with the do not call AND THEY KEEP TRYING TO CONTACT PREVIOUS EMPLOYERS!!

Wow! First of all I would like to say You Go Girl!  Cancer took my grandmother and almost my mother. I cannot believe the nerve of these people! I wouldn't wish any of our medical situations on anyone but, really? The only reason why hateful money hungry employees get away with it is God only gives you  what u can handel.  Strong  individuals like us. Unfortunately the weak rude ones would break!  My brother whom was my hero passed away at the same hospital I'm being treated so rudely at. How about answering this one? How can an individual staff member look at my brothers little girl while he is only hours from taking his last breath and respond back when she ask how's is my daddy nurse's replie we'll he ain't getting any better while she's slapping him in the face with hoses! Or how about this one after unplugging my brother from life support mother on one side father on the other. His three beautiful girls whom will never have their father walk them down the aile! Like he was suppose to for me that summer! All brothers, sister friends so many people who loved him packed the intensive care unit waiting for him to take his last breath you hear you all need to be considerate of the other patience keep it DOWN! I just can't even grasp it! My brother took his last breath only two hours before his birthday and his first born daughters birthday. My bro making damn sure his daughter would not have her dads passing and her 18 birthday on the same day of his passing.... Now I'm back dealing with the rude employees again! On the anniversary of my brother I was rushed into that same hospital already having lost one baby at my work and the other being removed from my tubes! Only to get treated horrible. The ones I'm talking about know who u are and u are in the wrong field of work!

I just got a call from this same number and they asked for my wife (could not say our last name correctly) and took the number down and asked what is it about and who is calling they said that is personal and can only talk to my wife about it.  I said well than don't call me call her.  She said we will be calling everyday thank you!!!      We owe a hospital money but are making monthly payements as we set up with the hospital.  The billing department is saying we owe almost double and have asked for detailed receipts of the work done.   They said 5-7 days and it has been almost 3 weeks now.   Our records show (from insurance) that we owe what we are making monthly payments on...  Sounds like they are double dipping for payment.

(PASI) 7100 Commerce Way |Suite 100 | Brentwood TN 37027  collectivelydifferent.com (The office that is calling you) has been constantly rated as one of the best collection agencies to work at for at least three years in a row, beni's fairly quickly and an avg. pay for the hourly folks a hair under $50K.

Now as someone mentioned earlier PASI is wholly owned by COMMUNITY HEALTH SYSTEMS INC at 4000 MERIDIAN BLVD. FRANKLIN,  TN  37067-6325. You can go to their website http://chs.net/hospitals/map.html and see which of their properties is trying to get $3.000 for an overnight stay that time they decided you needed a heart cath  for indigestion, or believe it or not some go to the emergency room because they can't get a ride tot the doctor.

They are still bottom feeding debt collectors but they are not scam artists. Artist implies passion and this is merely survival. Theirs and ours. If not for debt collectors we would be back to blaming lawyers and that's like blaming politicians, totally useless. You can't be good at either and care about what's right. In the end what we hate most is what we have let the world become.

I sas in the hospital for 2 weeks, I agreed to everything because i was told my insurance would cover 80%. after i got out i got a nifty little letter from my insurrance company that they were only going to cover like 10,000 out of a half million dollar bill. so now collectors call me, i don't know were they think im gona get half a million but my phone has a reject list. so when i get calls they go strait to voice mail and all i get is amessage saying missed call. also if any of you want to get paid at all, combine your bills all togather. i am not going to spend hours trying to sourt through your bills to figure out what is what.

Talk about a smart - but dumb bill collector. It makes no difference if we tell you that it is not the correct number or that you do not know the person. I keep getting calls (some it seems like they come every other day). I tell them it is not correct. They think you are lying (I guess) . So don't be so arrogant!

You are an idiot!! I am disabled and going through what I am told is a 2 year process for benefits, I had to give information and verify information that included everything except how many bowel movements a day I have. It is humiliating and degrading. The funny part is I have insurance - I just can not affort - nor do I have the means to pay the $15K in copays ( which is constantly growing). Oh , yes - they will pay these - eventually. In the meantime I have calls coming from pompous a***s like you!~

The caller was rude and did not identify himself or where he was calling from!!!!!!!! They also need to stop calling on all hours of the day and night especially when they are told that that number does not belong to who they are looking for!!!!!!

Started calling and every time I went to get phone, by time I went to pick it up they stopped calling. No message Says unavailable on my phone. I only pick up calls that id who they are if it says the state or unavailable or no name. that equals not picking up. Send it to the mail I believe very little that is said on the phone nowadays.

You know the quickest way to stop this is with the law in the first place. The thing is that by law you are not required to give your SSN to anyone other than an employer! How many times when you go to a hospital or a credit deal or on your utilities are you ask for it and the reason is for them to track you down to pay a bill.  If you tell them you do not give it out it is for an employer only there is nothing they can do!!!!! THEY CAN NOT DENY YOU SERVICE FOR ANY REASON!!  But this is how they get your numbers to your phone your address etc..... if you move. You also do not have to give them a home phone number etc.  For the ignorance above on bills and debt that they are not going away well sorry but the thing is in this country you can not go to jail over a debt!!!!! So what is it that you think I am truly supposed to be scared of? Call me all you like and I will document the time the date and any names I can get and I will record all the conversations as well and when I have someone yelling at me, and calling me a liar, threatening me with taking my home or personal property, etc.....then I will be more than happy to have the debt released in court for your negligence or have enough money out of you to pay it that is if I have not filed bankruped first..... 1-800-755-5152. Call multiple times a day and I get nothing but dead air when I pick up the phone. I even pick it up after 2 rings and again dead air. They never leave a message even on the calls when I might not be home. I do not know who they are other than annoying.

They keep calling from 800-755-5152 when I tell them that I never heard of the person they are asking to talk with. I have told them at least 8 times and they keep calling. They are a collections company from Tennessee called Professional Account Services. I have just reported them to my state's attorney general for harrassment.

When they didn't respond to my first and only hello, I told them not to call this number anymore.  Yes, I owe a hospital about $250.00 and am paying monthly payments on time.

AGREED! They've recently stooped as low as to call my work which I don't know how they got that number... maybe from papers filled out while I was in the hospital. Having personal calls at work is a BIG no-no at my job. I'm sorry I can't get to my cell phone! I am working!!!! Trying to save up some money to pay my bills! They could easily get me fired if their calls continue on my work line. I'll pay you when I can pay you- but putting food in my families mouth and making sure we have a roof over our head comes first. I know it's not the actual bill collectors fault because that is their job, but I believe at some point it becomes harrasment.
