They called and I answered. I said Hello and 5 seconds later it was disconnected. No one responded, I didn't even hear background noise of any kind.

Many thanks for this info. I do owe QD some money for some recent tests. I misplaced the bill but sent a payment last week. When I answered my phone I told the woman I was at work & could not talk. I asked her to call back and leave a message. She replied, "I cannot call back. This is an automated system. You will have to call us." I told her I would not call unless she told me who she was and why she was calling.

She hung up on me.

They just called me and all I hear is music, no identifier, and it keeps telling me to hold.  I finally hung up.  What jerks.  If you're going to call me, have the decency to be on the line when I answer.  My time is very important.

They falsify billing statements routinely by sending invoices to the wrong parent and calling out the wrong responsible party. They are a bunch of accounting clowns. Contact your state authorities if they try to jack you around.

I live in St. Louis, MO. Got this call today, answered it and there was just music playing, like elevator music! Oh well. Caller ID said "Toll Free Call".
