This guy emails all the time.  We get many like him that ask if we accept credit cards.  Any company that asks about credit cards in the first email is usually a scammer.  I do not even respond to any company like that and add the email address to my blocked list.

SCAMMERS FRAUD

Received an email requesting parts using a credit card.  Poor english, definitely not his first language.  Using this 800 # and a different locals Fax #.  Very Suspicious!!!!!  Needless to say, won't be selling and/or quoting anything to them.  Uses the name Kelly Joe (strange).

I GOT THIS MESSAGE TODAY AND FOUND IT STRANGE SO I LOOKED UP THE COMPANY'S NAME & FOUND THIS.   THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM...

This just looked like a scam to me.  I did send my website address. Thats all.  I would send them goods if-big if I receive cash in advance and it is confirmed as good funds by my bank..

Also watch out for Grantrust Inc. They want to order a EXTREMELY expensive camera, and won't provide any way to pay for it after repeat requests to verify who they are.

We are a UK only company.
Got the same email as everybody else. Wanting to pay upfront on a credit card for products we don't even sell!

Their address was given as a UK address, based in Kent. Number wan't working though.

i actually emailed them back asking why their number didn't work and why they use a google mail address. Asked them why they can't afford a proper domain email address!

I also told them to prove it to me that this wasn't a con by providing their company registration certificate and VAT details.

I somehow don't think i'll get a reply.

BUT. why give a list of products they want to a company who doesn't even sell them? How daft are they!
it's not like the products they ask for are everyday items that a good percentage of companies may sell. They asked us for a "MSA Orion Economy Multi Gas Detector, 4 Gas (LEL, O2, CO, H2S) with Calibration Cap Manufacturer" - whatever the bloody hell that is!

The style of the email is very similar to a lot of the African bank scam emails that go straight into my junk in hotmail; 'Hoping to read from you soon' and 'Thanks and stay bless' indicate that this person is from the same region, and has no doubt been told that there are people who will give up their bank details in response to these emails.
