I love judgmental people.  As a matter of fact, my sister took out a BUNCH of credit in my name and now I get calls all the time from a$$hats like this - and I do pay my bills - thank you very much, but I'm not going to pay the ones she accrued.  I simply look the number up to make sure it's "the usual" and turn it over to my attorney, who has to handle them.  Interestingly, the bill they are calling about was from 2002.  They need to get over it already - even if it is my deadbeat sister's. She's not going to be paying it from where she is I assure you.

I too received a call from this number. She said her name was Mary and that I was left as a referral to deliver a message for a Robent Shaw to call them. Said she was from GM Financial. She gave me the number 800-766-2271. Then hung up quickly. When I called back they immediately want your social security number. I told her the situation and said I have never know anyone by this name in my life and to have my number put on a do not call list. Said they had no ability to do anything about unless I get another call and to tell whoever calls me back. It's very fishy, I agree. Scary too. Hope this helps someone in some way.

I just received a call saying I was listed as a referral to get in contact with someone. The name they have me is a name I've never even heard of in my life let alone met. The number shows up as a New Jersey number on my caller id. I'm from kansas. I've never had a loan or purchased a car PERIOD. Nor have I ever consigned a loan. I don't even know this person they are talking about.

We traded in our car that was financed through Americredit last week. Our payment was due on the 31st (the day we traded the car in) today is the 6th and they called my bosses cell phone and not even once called me! I'm quite embarrassed and am not making a payment on a car that I no longer own. Not to mention it's not even a week late and they are already calling other people? I'm not even sure how they go his cell phone number but I guarantee I'll never get a loan through them again.

This company called my job and my work number is no where on my husband account. Stop skip traceing for information that not on the paper work!!!!!!

Well IF its true you do pay your bills on time then what are you doing on this page???? You wouldn't be checking out that number to find out who it was IF they haven't been calling you. Idiot!!!!

I HAVE NO ACCOUNT WITH THIS FIRM SINCE THEY SOLD MY ACCOUNT TO GMCREDIT WHICH HAS BEEN PAID IN FULL.  I DO NOT WANT THEM CALLING MY NUMBER ANY LONGER.

Since you both pay your bills on time, you would never ever have known that Americredit even existed and would be NO reason whatsoever to post on this webpage, would you? But since you did, both of you must be SHILLS.

If you co signed the loan then they have a legal right to pursue you as well as the other person that is on the loan.  Sorry but that is the law.

It is Americredit financing. If you pay your bill, they won't call you.

Called left a first name and call back number ONLY.  I have no idea who they are and will not call back unless they leave a message telling me what it is about and then I'll only call if I recognize what it is about.   I have been scammed by a company claiming to be a debt collector and they were from Nigeria don't know if this is the case but be aware of the possibility.

I just received a call asking for my husband and if we owned a 2005 Mustang.  When I said that we did not the caller hung up.

they are calling and hounding me I don't even have an account with them, my son does.  He has moved out and I haven't a clue where he is living now.  He won't return my phone calls either.
