Loan Offer from Discover -- Hope its real

Received this letter in the mail.  I called 1-800-Discover and talked to Trinity in Salt Lake City and she confirmed that 1-800-767-7359 is one of their numbers.

I also called customer service using the 800 number on the back of the card to find out if they could validate the 800-767-7359 number. I was told that their numbers would start with 347 and not 767. She stated that she didn't think the number was part of Discover. So for now I am not sure if this is a valid offer.

It is a legit offer.  Discover Bank is now offering personal loans.  It is not connected to your credit card, but is an offer through Discover Bank.  I checked with Discover Card Services.

Received offer letter from Discover Financial Services for a personal loan, called Discover number from website... Phone number on the letter (800)767-7359 is not associated with Discover Bank or Financial Services! It is fraud... be careful!

Funny thing sorting thru more "junk" mail, I've received a real discover offer which has Wilmington, DE address.

The inside of the return envelope has all kinds of security printings... And the offer also uses a legitimate Discover phone number.

I received a snail mail offer from Discover... stating I've received a 5.0 Superior rating thus enabling me to obtain some special low apr for a personal loan.

This all looked funny since the mail to address was for:
PO Box 15019
Wilmington, DE 19885-5033

Discover only uses Salt Lake City PO boxes... so after some Googling around I noticed the Bank of America has a PO Box 15019 Wilmington, DE address, different zip....
