You all should contact the FTC.  There is a file on these people and they are accepting Affidavits for the complaints.

The 800-790-1468 number keeps sending me SPAM fax every other day.

1.  I never invited, asked for, or gave permission (via phone or fax) for this sender to send me any information or faxes.
2.  I request that the Commission take appropriate action against this sender for violating the TCPA laws.

I also keep getting these stupid faxes advertising "Affordable Life Insurance" at the medical library and have no idea of how they ever got a hold of our fax number. I don't trust calling their removal number and currently researching on the net looking for a good solution to get rid of these morons.

Received unsolicited and unwanted fax ("Attention Baby Boomers!! We have Life Insurance for your Mom and Dad...") from "private" caller, (respond fax to 800-790-1468) 12:25 pm EST, Nov 18, 2007.

Sent them back a blank form (the sent fax), plus several pages of Laplace  xform diffeq problems (I *do* have a sense of humor).

Also, at the bottom of the fax: "To delete fax number call 888 214 1222"

You can probably call them and let them know your opinion or I've been told calls to the 800 number cost the recipient 25 cents each.  Auto dial while watching football is easy!

they call repeatedly, sometimes at 4 in the morning.  Per the phone company's recommendation, I blocked anonymous calls on my fax line and they still get through without revealing their number.  Clearly a sophisticated hacker/spammer probably working through a computer. I am going to have the phone company install a trap

Fax ink/paper and electronic is expensive.  The sender of this fax is really pissing me off.  They need to STOP or be sued by someone...can this be reported to the better business bureau?  ... if so how?

Affordable Life Insurance faxes every morning, waking me up.  I have called the fax removal number 8 times to no avail & have faxed a "do not fax" to the 800 number above to no avail.

WRONG! Unsolicited junk faxes ARE illegal under the TCPA 47 USC 227. You can sue for a lot of money PER fax so it can add up quick. According to the Web lawsuits of this type are becoming more commonplace. So there should be caselaw out there to help guide those who want to sue. The key is finding out who sent the fax so you can sue them. If you can find them and sue them before they disapear you can make some good money.

Fax based solicitations are not illegal...pain in the neck...or lower, but they are not illegal.  The thing to do is make them illegal.  Write your government representatives and demand they pass a law making fax solicitations illegal

Received Affordable Life Insurance from 800-790-1468 again 8:08 am.
Tried reverse lookup and 800 directory, no results.

The second fax this week, this was from    oak1_did13-1186714739   after this number was my own fax number (deleted here) followed by a 25, probably the 25th time they used my J2 fax   (to delete fax number shown  as 888-214-1222)  received on 8/9/07 at 8pm PST   Affordable Life Insurance  fax back to 1-800-790-1468

i get unsolicited and unwanted faxes weekly from this company.  i have called 3 times, each time supposedly taking my fax number off the list, but i have not received the confirmation fax which officially takes me off the list.  There is also no other number to call or button to press to speak with a human to ensure that i am off their list.

I get unsolicited faxes everyday which is illegal.
