I received a call from this number a few days ago.  I dialed 1 and put my phone on mute.  He whistled and yelled into the phone for a minute or so, then hung up.  A few minutes later, I got a call from a number that checks to be in Missouri.  He said that he believed that we had a bad connection, and he wanted to call back.  I told him that I didn't need his services,but just wanted to interrupt his day like he had interrupted mine.  He said he would charge me for the call, and called me a Hillbilly and hung up before I could return the compliment.  First time I was ever called a Hillbilly by someone in Missouri.     I  have not tried to call the number that came in on the call.

I received a call today from Card Member Services advising that this was their final attempt to lower my credit card interest rates.  Funny, every message I have received all year from the same company say the same thing.  Lately, I have been attempting to intercept the calls in an attempt to speak with someone and have my number removed from their automatic dialer.  This time I spoke with a male.  He was very pleasant in the beginning.  BUT I asked to be removed from their calling list and he turned very ugly, racially ugly.  He asked if I was a 'niggra'.  I asked what that was.  Negro or Negra means black in Spanish but I do not know what Niggra means.  He stated that he would definitely remove me because 'niggras' could not qualify for their credit cards.  I just said 'Oh ok, but you called me and I just want off the call list'.  He added that he wished it was 'back in the day' so he could 'string me up' for being disrespectful to a white man.  He stated that he would love to see my black @$$ swinging from a tree.  I politely told him I fully understood how he feels.  I informed him that my grandfather and his brothers were sent up north from the south in the 1920's for 'stringing up' a white man that disrespected them.  He hung up...

got a call about "lowering interest rates" a young man came on the line and i said "what card service are u with" he said "shut the f up" and disconnected the call. i will file a complaint with fcc.

Received an automated called from 800-800-2008, hung up once it started and received an immediate call back from 573-342-0063 asking me if I was just stupid or ignorant since I did not take them up on their offer if lowering my interest rates.  Called another 10 times over the afternoon, someone needs to take this company down.  No one should  be harrassed like this.

got a call from 1800-800-2008 about my credit card etc.. when I called them back I got an Art Gallery in Toronto, Canada ! Eskimo art Gallery . It seems their number has been hijacked by some sort of credit card scam outfit !

I answered phone saying take this number off your list.  It's a no call number.  then, hung up

the same young man started an obscene rant when i asked the name of his company!

i received a call from this company, the man was rude, & when i called the # back i got a recorded message that said this # is disconnected or changed....i want them stopped

My grandmother has been getting calls from this number and she does not have a credit card! Every time she has asked them to take her off of their list, it has been refused. They just say they're with Cardmember services. I'm trying to find out more, report them, and get them to quit calling her.

This man is so mean. He had me in tears by the end of the call. He asked if I still owed 3K on my credit card, I answered yes (who doesnt though?) He asked for my date of birth and I inquired what bank he was with.  He immediately started yelling at me so loudly I could not understand him. I was more astonished about his actions. I told him that I wasnt interested and for him to have a good day. He then really let me have it with words I have very rarely heard aloud.  Horrible words. I hung up and he called back so many times to leave noisey messages. I almost felt scared. god help whomever his family is.

It is evident that the a-hole calling from 1-800-800-2008 is the same individual over and over as I can tell from previously posts.  And it is more apparent, he cannot even hire fellow harassers. I have no doubt it is some type of credit card scam to get information, yet it does puzzle me because the man is so poorly versed, and thankfully is at the lower end of the gene pool. To any half-way intelligent individual it is obvious that something is wrong from the ?get go?. When met with any type of resistance he flies into a flurry of anger name calling, and belittling.  Then will proceed to call back for a half hour with annoying ?BUZBEEP ? fax machine sounding noises.  At my household we got a kick out of this idiot and less than successful wanna-be con artist is probably sitting at home alone in his underwear. Most likely there is tin foil on the window, and the only human contact he has is the people he attempts to harass. Meanwhile his Ramon noodles are getting cold while he curses the next poor soul.

I reported our ?adventure? to the FCC, and hope you do the same upon reading this.  It is a shame there are people in the world like this.  The only thing to do is to report it, and better yet if you just received a voicemail?simply do not ever answer to this number. No point in giving the jerk the satisfaction.

The jerk on the phone that called from the 1-800-800-2008 wanted the year I was born and when I asked him more about his company and started pressing him for questions, he told me that "most people with the first name Misty are rednecks!" He then told me that I was too dumb for them to be able to help me and that I was white trash. UNBELIEVABLE!

Looks like all the calls are alike.  Thanks for the information which is below.

got a call today, did not answer, said on caller id it was Eskimo art ... I looked, it is a legit store out of Toronto Canada, but I have no dealings with them and no reason for them to either seek me out nor me to seek them out, so by process of elimination, I deduce that it is indeed a scam as described above, and I hope that Eskimo art if they are indeed still in business and want their business to have a good reputation, pursue charges against whomever is doing this or at least protect their reputation by changing their number if they can swing it.   It is terrible that the world is so cold and callous and about money that people have sunk to such lows.  Equally unfortunate that anyone falls victim to these horrible shallow individuals creating such mistrust in all.  Hopefully this will eventually become a thing of the past, though I truly do not see how.  Thank you for allowing me to rant, and thank you for having this web site for people to check what is going on with their phones and the senseless calls we receive.

I didn't answer the phone!

When I asked what the name was on the credit card they were calling about the guy called me a funny little b*%$h and hung up on me.

I get a recorded message from this place, credit card services, 2-3 times a day. I haven't tried calling it back or listening to the entire message to see if there is a remove from call list option, maybe I will try that. I usually hang up on this type of thing cause I'm worried it will accidently get me signed up for something or charge back to my phone bill.

A recorded message claiming to be from "Credit Card Services" with an offer to lower my interest rates and instructions to press "1" to speak to an agent or to press "2" to be removed from the call list.  I have received numerous calls from them in the past.  However, this is the first time that the message included the option "2" to be removed.  In the past I have simply hung up the phone.  Today, I used the option "2', and hope I am truly removed from their call list.

I pushed the #1 and some guy answered, I said "how are you today", he said "Would you like to lower your interest rate?", I said, "Oh, how are you today?", he then told me that he asked me a f**king question and he expects a f**king answer.  Called me a stupid f**king c**t, and a b**ch, etc......said he was going to reverse the phone charges on me and continued to be extremely vulgar.  But, he did put me on the do not call list.  I would LOVE to find out what company is making the calls and have something done.  I am amazed at the way this "man" spoke to me. Unbelievable.  I am at a loss for words.

Got another call today from Cardmember Services regarding lowering my interest rates. I pushed 1 to speak to a representative. I guy finally answered and I asked to be removed from the call list. He replied, " That'd be great but then we'll have to cancel your credit card. We'll send yo a certified letter informing you of that." and hung up.
