I got a call from this 800 800-8000 she said her name was Margaret and was trying to sell me a rare silver coins that have never been used by the goverment for $300. She said i would pay half now $199 (that's not half) on my credit card then pay the rest the following month. i told her i would not give her anything over the phone. i asked for her # and i would call her right back she gave me the # 877-701-0003. Whatever it doesn't matter if it's legit i'm not calling her back.

8000 is some type of hidden id for scammers

SOMEONE FROM THIS NUMBER CALLED MY CELL PHONE.   SAID THEY WERE FROM "CARD SERVICES" AND WERE OFFERING ME A LOWER INTEREST RATE OF 3%.   WANTED MY CC NUMBER.   AT THAT POINT I KNEW IT WAS A SCAM, SAID NO AND HUNG UP.    I COULD ACTUALLY HEAR SOMEONE LAUGHING IN THE BACKGROUND.   I'M REPORTING THEM TO MY CC COMPANY.

This HAS 2 be Super 8! There isn't anyone else with this phone number!

Keep getting calls from this number telling me they are from Windows and they detected a problem on my computer and needed me to sit in front of my computer so they can tell me how to fix it.   I think they are just wanting me to get on it so they can take over my computer and hack it.  I had a hard time understanding him as he had a foreign accent.

I get calls from this number several times a day.  As I don't recognize the number, I don't answer.  Thanks for the info about it being a scam.

I have been getting numerous! calls from this (800)800-8000 number, when I answer there is no one there, when I called the number back it said it was Super 8 Motel. I get a call from them again today at 12:38 pm, a man (from India, strong accent) said he was calling about an online form I filled out about selling my timeshare, its b***s***! I did not sign up for any timeshare sell because I DO NOT OWN A TIMESHARE!!! When I said that to him and asked him not to call me anymore he just hung up on me. So freeking rude!!
Who the hell are these people and how did they get my cell number? I am registered with the National Do not call Registry and have recently re called them with my number.

Selling/Renting timeshares.  The keep calling even though I've told the repeatedly that I'm not interested and to please take me off their list.  Their caller ID comes up 1-800-800-8000 from Motel 8.  On the fifth call in 3 days, I was a bit more belligerent and asked for their address, phone number, and web address.  I was told that they couldn't provide that information and to F*** OFF, that I was a MOTHERF*****, and to F*** OFF again.

So on the sixth call, I played along, gave them some false information, including a false e-mail address, and he said that he'd have an agent call back later today.  I just got a call from BuyATimeshare.Com who said I had filled out a web form earlier today--my internet connection was down all day, so I know it wasn't me or my wife.  BuyATimeshare.com says that they don't know who American Resort Network even is and have no connection to them, but they must be paying a finder's fee to American Resort Network.  Otherwise there would be no incentive to do what they're doing.

BTW, reporting it to the government will do no good--they're likely operating from outside the US, and will just change their name and keep on annoying people.  Call Block is the best option.

Someone (or looks like multiple scammers) have spoofed Super 8s phone number.  It is difficult to track down a spoofed number from within the states but when it goes international it becomes much more difficult.  This sucks for us as the consumer but even more for super 8.  

Everyone just know that they are scammers.  Don't fall prey to it.

I'm not getting as many calls as before the elections but still getting too many.  I don't know what good it does to sign up for 'Do not call".  I have caller ID and don't even bother to pick up if I don't know who it is, just wish I didn't have to look first before I answer my own phone.

I get 1 -2 calls every day from this number. Never anyone on the other end. Can't block it because AT&T does do call blocking with iPhones.

yes Id says super 8 however their number was hacked and a telemarketing scam is using the number.  I get 2+ calls a day and told them to stop calling me I am on a do not call list.  They called right back same guy sounded like from india and he laghed and said I can do nothing about it.  I just blocked the number

I get morning calls from this number everyday and this time it there was a message trying to sell me a week long tropical vacation to Cancun, Jamaica or Some other places for $129 a person. Then an extra 4 days in Orlando, FL. .... Yea right! Stupid scammers!

I just got a ring from this 800 800 8000 #.  They left a voivcemail: I can fly to Cancun, Hawaii, etc, for a mere $130.  OW!  But I have a 'fear of flying' phobia so guess I won't be going ha-ha!

Received 2 calls from them today, both hang ups.. When I called back they said it was Super 8 reservations. I'm going to call back and pretend to confirm a reservation and see if they hang up on me LOL

Caller ID says Super 8 Motel. "Steve" with a heavy accent said he's from the IT department and wanted to help with my Microsoft windows issue.  Um...No. Sounds like a SCAM.

The caller has a heavy accent...probably from India or thereabouts...and advises that he is calling from  "Windows" regarding a virus infecting my computer. I advised that I appreciated the heads-up, and i would contact my antivirus protection service, along with the National Do Not Call Registry. I also blocked any future calls from this number. My Daddy didn't raise no fool!!
