It is westgate and they threaten to send your account to collections.  They CANNOT report anyone to collecitons or report negatively on your credit report because they don't have your ssn. When you signed up for the timeshare they only required your name and address.  Therefore all they can do is bug the crap out of you by calling every so often asking for money.
Just block their number or save it under your contacts as "Do Not Answer"

They call my cell multiple times during the day everyday!! Ok yeah, we bought a package and used it years ago, and it's in the hubby's name, but they aren't calling his cell. Crap, if you keep calling and I don't answer then get the hint dumb a** and stop calling!!!!

Yeah right, there's really only one reason: they want to scam you and haven't gotten enough money from you yet.

This is Westgate Resorts Vacation Traveler department.  They call for 1 of 4 reasons.

1. You have an unused vacation package with them and they want you to schedule your vacation (if your package has expired, they will require you to either pay extension charges, or haggle with them into an upgrade and waive the extension fees)

2. You used a vacation travel package and now they want to convince you to apply what you paid for that towards a time share.

3. You have a vacation travel package you are paying on and there is a problem with your payment method (or your card is about to expire and needs updated info)

4. You dropped your name in one of those drawing boxes at the mall to win a free car or vacation or something else, and they want you to go to a timeshare presentation.

I just received another call from this number.  No message was left.

They call every day and there is no way to request that they not call back.

I bought a week from Westgate and was never able to use it and I need to know how to stop them from calling me as I would never use them again due tot heir unwillingness to extend the time period to use it.

I HAVE A UNUSED WEEK AT WESTGATE RESORTS FROM OVER 3 YEARS AGOS.  THEY ARE STILL CALLING ME TO SIGN UP FOR A TIMESHARE.

when I answer they don't say anything....they just sit on the line, then hang-up on me.  Very annoying!!

It's not a collection agency. It's Westgate Resorts. My husband and I got a free vacation to go look at one of their timeshare properties and now they call us all the time!

They belong to the timeshare you possibly either sign up for, bougth, asked information on it. Or something that's the only way they get your information

They called a couple of times and did not leave a voice message. Found on  the Internet that this number is used by Westgate Resorts. No idea why they call me. Probably they want to sell some vacation package or something.

Westgate Resorts. They call several times daily and won't leave message on answering machine; when I answer they ask for my husband and would not speak to me. He is never available to take their calls.
