Just talked to a lady from this number.  Talked about our company using XP still.

My thoughts: Sales call about windows 7.  Just hang up.

Just called the number direct, it does answer as "Thank you for calling Microsoft.  Please hold for the next avaliable agent"

Got the same message today,  called back just to see and got the please hold sounds like a fake reseller company in my opinion

Pretty Fishy....the guy said he was microsoft, medallion?  but a company called Estes...but when I called the number like the guy says above....They answer as Microsoft.

Social engineering call it seems to sell you Microsoft and to upgrade from XP

They are not Microsoft. They called me asking all types of questions about what we are doing and who handles Microsoft Licensing here. Microsoft knows what we have licensed and who our contact is. They would not tell me who they are, just that they were a Microsoft partner. That was after I proved to the caller they could not be Microsoft.

This was a call from Microsoft about their Windows XP support ending in the near future and asking if we needed any help upgrading to Windows 7.

I keep getting this call over and over and even called back and tried to get them to take me off of their call lists.  No clue what is going on.

Claims to be a Microsoft agent. Wants me to call back about my  software license. Extension 530
