It's the Debt Collection Dept. at First Franklin Mortgage. I think they (like a lot of companies) cross-reference the various calling/address lists they acquire - which means one person's former address or phone number may get linked to someone else who now has that address or phone number (e.g., your new apt. address may be the old address of someone who has defaulted on a loan).

The frustrating thing is that it doesn't do much good to tell them they've got the wrong person. Although they say they'll take you off their call list, they seldom seem to do so.

Just called twice within 4 minutes. When I answered the phone, there was no one on the other end - no matter how much time I gave their autodialer to connect with a real operator or even a recorded message. We've had our phone number for 7 years, and we've never had business with First Franklin Mortgage.

They call me 5 to 6 times a day.  I have finally shut my ringer off totally but I like the idea of assigning a silent ring to just that number.  I'm older and not that cell phone savvy but I will try.  Now I have my phone on vibrate and miss a lot of calls every day but it is worth it to not have to dig for my phone and then see that First Franklin number again.  They are beyond harassing.

My suggestion. Ask if she has a tight a** and loves it deep. That will make her uncomfortable. If it is a guy, ask about her sister... It is very effective

These idiots keep calling me as well.  I don't have a loan with them, but one of my co-workers does.  Nonetheless, I called them back and left a detailed message instructing them to try calling another fricken number they may have on file for their client.  It is annoying!

They have a room full of computers that make 1000's upon 1000's of phone calls a day. There is no one on the other end when you answer because the call is being transferred to an actual person....It's the same as a sales call center. Thats why they try to ask your name or loan number when you try to ask why they are calling...even though they called you first.

They CAN take the number out of the system but they won't because your number could be listed a 1000+ times..plus,most people don't care to follow through with BBB complaints and it makes that department seem to be working hard on the books. It's seriously out of control. Even if they take it out once...It means nothing. It's just a huge list that goes on and on and also repeats. We are just a bunch of numbers to a computer. There is no common sense to be had in this case....You have to make at three complaints to the BBB for them to even consider removing it..They called my cell phone several times a day. I just saved it under contact 'don't answer' and assigned a silent ringtone for that call only....sucky.

I have a mtg with First franklin. If the payment isn't there on the due date, they call and call and don't leave a message. I haven't been late on my house payment in years. I have told them to stop, but they don't.

You need to file a complaint with the Better business bureau the BBB.org that they are calling and ahrassing you and that you have ask them to stop and see if that will work. If you use minutes on your phone and are charged a fee for that ask for a sum of money when you file the complaint as well for them to reemburse your parents and see what they will do to help last option would be to see about getting a different phone # because the people night have had your # before or gave the wrong # so that they couldn't be reach any longer anyway good luck hope this helps.

I have not had experience with this 800 caller.  That said, I did read your testimonies.  Good for all of you who don't put up with this new form of electronic harrassment!  I'll warn those of you refinancing in the future, stay away from Citifinancial, they are sharks, as well.  If they had treated us with respect, I wouldn't be writing this right now.  All of us consumers must stick together and start passing the word on which companies have the blackest souls.

They start calling on the 1st of the month, at least 4 times a day.  When we do pick up my husband tells them it will be paid by the due date the to quite harrassing us, they tell us they will make a note but we will keep getting calls.  My office mate has had them call her at work.  Due to this harrassment we will not be using First Franklin when we re-fi next year.  They are driving us crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
