They are calling my work phone and will not leave a name that identifies the business that is calling me.

Just got a call from them, it's a company called MRS Financial.  Apparently they buy extremely old debt (7+ years) and attempt to collect on it.  These people are incredibly rude and are violating the law by threatening jail and wage garnishments.

They called me and left a message on my answering machine (lucky I don't answer my home phone)
The lady said her name and the number to call..but didn't say who she worked for or why they were calling.
I don't have a 7+ yr old debt..but one I got from last year...I was pretty sure it was done with though.
I am not calling this lady back..I don't want to be threatened by a lady that doesn't know me!

I am getting these calls on my cell and they are really aggrivating.  I don't answer because I know it's MRS Associates whom I have no business with.  I have no old debts to be paid and I don't want to be bothered by them!

IM sick of people CALLING MY HOUSE asking for some one that has NEVER lived here and  has never had this number ..I CALL THAT HARESSEMENT.

This number, 8008198567, 8663567011, and many others are from MRS Associates out of NJ.  They find names of persons associated with repossessed cars and other debts, illegally. They do not call the primary signer of the loan but anyone that may be associated in any way. through threats they coerce people to pay. they are illegal and unless the company that issued the debt has written u a letter u can rest assured this is a scam. ask them simply who their client that issued the collecton notice us or what the account number for the debt was. They cannot say - this tells u they are lying. you can complian but all that will get u is calling eliminated from one toll free number and passed to another. What r ur options? Simple, do not answer a toll free number: it is either MRS or a solicitor. BTW, MRS also has a regular number that calls out of Washington State. the man calls himself Mr. Bryson. Solution? Install caller ID if u do not have it and ignore calls from numbers u do not recognize.   DOJ

They are harrassing me about money owed to honda finacial. We have told them we can't pay but they keep calling and making threats.

Got a call from this number on Sunday (today), found this page and decided to call back to see why they called. They were looking for another person, apologized and hung up.
Please, if they knew WHAT they were doing they'd know WHO they were calling. Don't let these types of calls intimidate you; hell, screw with'em and give'em false info (while acting scared). This tactic feels great and sends them on a wild goose chase. Give'em false names and account numbers and feel good knowing that you've filled there "database" with great info!

MRS THESE PEOPLE ARE UNBELIEVEABLE. THEY KEEP CALLING MY #.  ASKING THIS SO CALLED PERSON ON BEHALF OF FORD CREDIT. ITS THE SAME ANNOYING LADY LORAINE.
I ACTUALLY GOT A HOLD OF HER. AND SHE WAS REALLY RUDE. BUT THE DUMB BI*** STILL CALLS. SHE HANGS UP AND WAITS A  COUPLE OF DAYS LEAVES A SO CALLED SWEET MESSAGE AND ITS ANNOYING.
I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WRITE ANYONE TO STOP CALLING MY PHONE. SUPPOSEDLY THESE MESSAGES ARE BEING RECORDED THAT SHOULD BE ENOUGH.

I GET CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER ALL THE TIME.  I TELL THEM THEY HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER BUT THEY CONTINUE TO CALL.  I AM REPORTING THEM TO THE FCC.

I used 2 work for this b*****d and they are phoney 2 let everybody know mrs associates went bankrupt the parrispany office and they tell u that they are going 2 resolve ur debt and don't if they call u more then 4 times in every 4 hours there braking the law they are going 2 get sue they had been knew they where going 2 close and they didn't let there employes know till the same day and they are where runing there agency with 9ppl employess and that sum s*** I hate mrs and they will eht what they have coming

they called me several times and today i answered and they asked for my mother. i said thats my mother and i'll give her a message if you tell me what this is in regards to.
they said "this is a personal business matter"
i told them if i dont have better detail for them she wont call them so i wont even relay the message and waste her time. they said its against federal law to tell me anything, then asked my phone number then hung up on me.

These people are the worst, from what I hear.  They have dozens of different numbers from which they call from.  I have sent cease and desist
letters.  Will file complaint with attorney generals office, as they just don't stop calling - and they use so many different phone numbers, it's absolutely unbelievable.  Total harassment and fraudulent practices against the FDCPA.

Keep getting these dam calls from 800 819 3372. I work nights and they call during the day sometimes 2 x daily. What I can I do? I never answer but see their number on my CID>

I don't answer my home phone because we get crap calls like this all the time..usually it is for my mom. But I listened to the machine and she said my name.

Her name was Stacy Reed and she said the call was for me, and gave me her number and ext.# but she didn't say what the call was for or what it had to deal with at all.

I am not calling back to see what it's about..but I have the number for safe keeping.

I don't know what to do to stop these people calling me to my cell phone and to my home phone, they call me very early in the morning before 8:00AM, in the noon in the afternoon, even at nights, I did the same thing, I called back and I got an answer machine telling me " MRS Associates, your call maybe monitored or recorded " Plese if anybody can help me with this problem, let me know I will apreciate it, TY.

I never answer calls I do not know. I called this number back and it is MRS Associates (bill collector). They were using 866-709-0903 to call me and I sent them an email stating that I wished for them to stop calling and each call from then forward meant they were violating the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. I am keeping a log of the times they call. They can be sued for $500 per call, I believe it is, after they have been told not to call. Now they have started using this number. I guess they think I am really dumb. We'll see who's dumb when this is over with.
