I received this call from a woman named Olivia Jones. She said I had "WON" $25,000, an all paid trip to any of 20 places IN THE USA-TRANSFERABLE of course, a gold sports watch, and subscriptions for TV Guide, Ladies Home Journal. All I had to pay was $1.89 a week for these magazines for THREE years.
What was my favorite CREDIT CARD she asked.....I said Discover as I only have the one. What was the expiration date? Hmmmmm I made up a number 1/2016. NOW came WHAT IS YOUR CARD NUMBER?___WTH?_______.Now what's your card number as we need it to initiate the subscriptions.
I said I'm not comfortable giving the number on the phone. She then transferred me to Rita. Rita said what's the matter? Did Olivia explain everything nicely-I answered yes but I won't give out my number. I will call you back.
I said "let me call you back what's your number." She said it's 800-496-0814.
The number on caller ID was 800-819-6906 Hmmmmmmm.
She said but it's $25,000. I said I will have to call you back, endless circle.
Then, I hung up and called my state Consumer Protection Agency. As soon as I said "I won $25,000" the receptionist said let me transfer you to our SCAM

I found this # on my calls received list and called back. A "Brian" answered; I told him my # was on the do not call list. He flashed back " You report me all you want, you put your # on the internet, you did this to yourself!" and he hung up on me. I have not publicly posted my #. My # is on the net associated with supposedly secure on-line website orders; shows you how protected your personal info is, eh? Beware of these trollers!

Called my office and hung up. I called back and got someone named Carl who wanted to sell me insurance. I gave him the office number and said, "You will never call us again." He said ok. Probably won't work, but I was surprised to reach a warm body instead of an out of service message.

Got a call on my cell phone from: (800)819-6906
My Cell phone showed I had a message and 1 phone call.
I called them back and informed the guy that my phone is on the "DO NOT
CALL LIST. I then told him,"If you call this number again, I will file a complaint. He told me he would not call again.
The last time I had a problem it was a collection agency looking for some guy that had my phone number before I got it. They would call me several times a day and I would tell them that I did not know who the guy was and to stop calling me.
I finally got so pissed off that I started calling them over and over. The Re-Dial works real good for that kind of s***. To make a long story short, I was tying up their phone lines. They finally told me that I would be removed from their call list. They never called me back since then.

They are calling from Planprescriber.com, it's a website that helps seniors find and compare Medicare Part-D insurance plans. It's used by CVS, Walmart and Rite-Aid also to assist their customers with finding plans. It you are interested in signing up for one of the plans the site will ask you for your telephone number so an agent can contact you.

Received telephone message from "Plan Prescriber" insurance salesman. He left msg for a name of someone not at my telephone number. I wondered if this was a "neat trick" for getting callbacks to whom he could then sell insurance. If many others have the same experience, I'd wonder about them.
