These a-holes have called me a few times now and have actually gotten aggressive when I blow them off.
So I turned the tables and have started calling them from a blocked number and have kept them on the phone with a bunch on jibberish.
Soooooo Bob, and Mathiew, and whatever other names you fckers want to use.... be ready.....

SCAM ... Got a call from an man with an Indian accent saying he was calling from Microsoft in California. The purpose for his call was to advise me that the IP address in my computer is being used by hacker in several locations in north america and my security has been compromised. He asked me to go to my computer and turn it on so he could show me exactly where the virus was implanted in my computer and he'd show me how to remove it . I kept disregarding his requests to open the computer and type something In the search box.... My gut was warning me he was suspicious and asked for his phone number and name... He said his name was David Harper and he could be reached at 1-800-820-0427 extension 526..... I became even more suspicious because the name was an All-American name with a very deep Indian accent. Anyways, I told the guy i had to leave to do something...he asked me when he can call me back because my security was being compromised and it was Important that I take care of this issue as soon as possible .... I said I call back upon my return later ....By the way the number I saw on my phone display was not an 800# .it was 1-124-014-1373 .... That is why I decided to look it up myself and see the authenticity of it.... Obviously from what I read complete BS and definitely a scam company !

This guy call me and say he work for teck soluition . he say my computer was hack. ty for the info

Don't they teach English or spelling  in India?

SCAM!   Legitimate tech's do not cold call people, nor do the legitimate business's cold call. There is no way for anyone to know what is going on with someone's computer or not.   Nor do they know your IP unless it is a admin/moderator on a board such as this.  

They do not want to help fix your pc, the only thing they are after is hacking your computer and scamming you out of money period!  

If a person has problems with their computer, take it to a real live tech you can see face to face!

Just got a phone call from the same guy described on the previous comment "just receive a call from 80-820-0427 a guy name Mathiew Farrel supposedly working for Windows comp. and saying that someone using my I.P. number and bla-bla-bla he gave me his extension number # 526".  

I call back at the same number,  I notice a suspicious way of answering my call.   I hook up, and make a Google search on this phone number which lead me to this site.

"Jason" called. Said it was about my computer. Some "posers" had my IP address and that he would need to go into mine and possibly have to change my IP address.

These guys call and say there is awarrent for arrest. They have this 1-800 to  a  14108200427 numberv named todd.

I received a call from this number saying it was an emergancy.  I could barely understand them and all that I go was that it was the Sheriffs department.  As I could not understand them I hung up.  They called right back and stated that I would be served papers by the Sheriff at work and that my supervisor would have to go to court with me.  The caller was rude and very threatening.

These guys do not care.They started calling me in January,in March i want to police they called them and told them to leave me alone.They did not care the kept calling till   April.They started calling me again today.They are mean and will call over and over and try to scare you.Best to just not answer ,once they talk to you they will keep calling. Police said do not answer the calls and do not return.

I just got a call from the same person and I was freaked out! I called back and left a message saying that I am calling my lawyer.

is that you did? ask for the address and info?? now he is calling my work. and left me two voicemails

If they call back tell them that if this is an actually debt youowe u are supposed to be notified in writting. Also tell them u want their company name and address to verify your debt. They will try to say they can't or won't give you that info. Tell them then you won't pay. If they continue to harrass you tell them you r going to report their number to the ftc, bbb, and your state gen attorneys office. This is a SCAM! They try to scare you into paying. Stand your ground dont pay them a penny!

I got that same guy about 2 hours ago, saying there was an investigation  with my ssn

Guy named Neil Johnson called. Said there was a lawsiuit against my ss#. I told him I would not talk to him further without his address and who heworked for. He said he couldn't give it to me. I said then i couldnt talk to him. He got mad and told me, fine he would proceed with the lawsuit and put a warrent out for my arrest and hungup on me. I looked up the number it came up as a cell phone in India.
