MCM had been calling me at my work for months.  I didn't realize it was them because I never pick up the phone if it's an 800 or 888 number, knowing that it's a solicitor.  After being called so many times, I answered the call and the individual hung up.

I Googled the number and found this 800notes website and read your postings.  I obtained the fax number  to MCM and faxed them a cease and desist letter (you can find the verbiage online), along with the number they were calling.  I also gave them the last 4 digits of my social security number so they could confirm that I'm not the person they are looking for.  I have not received a single call from them since the day I faxed the letter.

Today, I received a letter of APOLOGY in the mail from MCM saying my number was now coded as "Do Not Call."  I was shocked, given that many of you were also erroneously contacted but they are still harassing you.  My suggestion is to send a letter to MCM with the cease and desist language and give them the last 4 digits of your social security number.  Don't go into any additional detail, regardless of whether you want to tell them to go pound sand.  Others have posted the address, but once again it is: MCM, Inc, 8875 Aero Dr. STE 200, San Diego, CA. 92123.  Best of luck, my friends.

Pacific Justice put out a warrant for these jerks. They're probably computer hackers. Check out you tube. Peoples homes are going down all over the place from tornados and they are stealing credit cards, reporting falsely and are looking for Anathama.

I was sued by Midland Funding last year.  I hired consumer lawyer Jason A. Shear, Esq. in Buffalo, N.Y.  We got Midland's debt collection case dismissed!  -  Jen in N.Y.

They called my mobile phone two times today.  Don't know why they're calling

Yae this company contacted me and evidently was fraud someone used my name and they still keep harassing me after I explained to them I was no where near where they said I was in 2008 I see they are scam artists from what I am seeing online and I believe they need to be stopped! They contacted me out of the blue and said I owe something from 2008 and I know I don't and the address they gave me I never even heard of I never heard of any of this!

Midland Credit Management LLC and Midland Funding LLC are the same companies. I've had dealings with both and agree they are scumbags. Fear caused me to pay the debt that MCM bought to help clear my credit report without doing more research. I have now educated myself and learned a lot about this parisite. They have lawsuits against them. They have employees who do nothing all day but sign hundreds of affidavits against people stating they owe these debts. That's just the tip of the iceburg. Even thinking about this makes my blood boil. Midland Funding has placed a wage garnishment on me for a debt I paid back in 2009! It went that far because I had moved and had never received the notice for court so wasn't there to defend myself. I had numerous phone calls and me telling them over and over that the debt was paid already along with sending them documentation. Now I'm fighting to have the judgement vacated and get my money back! The first request has been denied but I'm not giving up and have already filed a second request. I know I'm right and I will keep fighting them. They are now screwing around with my credit report. As early as July 1, 2012 my credit report showed that I owed them the full debt. Today I checked my report again and it shows a zero balance and that I pay as agreed to them and have been since 2009. That I have nothing past due. WTF????????? Beware if you have ANY dealings with either of these company names. They have no soul.

These guys Midland Credit Management have been calling me for over a month. Often times 5-8 times a day. Every time their number would come up as Unavailable. Then they sent me a debt collection letter claiming I owed over $3,000 to them. Even after sending them a letter disputing the debt and telling them not to call anymore they still kept calling me. These guys are scum and will even send fake documents to you insisting that you owe the debt. Don't believe them and insist they provide some kind of written proof that has your original signature that says you owe the money.

I've been reading a lot about MCM and falsifying documents seems to be part of their regular way of doing business. People need to start fighting back against these scumbags which consistantly violate the FDCPA. Already the State Attorney General Of West Virginia has sued them for violating the FDCPA and for harassing people on the phone. Contact your State Attorney General and file a complaint against MCM.

I have received 121 phone calls from this company since 10/14/2011. What shows up as a phone number on my cell phone is 'No Number'. I have been able to answer 2 of the calls  - 1st one the person on the other end hung up, 2nd one, there was a male individual on the other end. We had heated words and I finally hung up on him. Companies like MCM hide behind the 'No Number' number so a person doesn't now who is calling. In order for me to answer this type of call, I would have to carry my cell phone on my hip 24/7.  They're actions are a classic example of harassment. That's in violation of federal law - Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. This company needs to be shut down.
