Same number.  I got half a recorded ad - something like "You have an important..." Then dead air.

this number has called me almost every day for 8 months. does anyone have any idea how to get them to stop?

Called me at 2:00 p.m and 10:00 a.m next day no message was left.

Got a call today asking to speak to the owner of the business, I asked who was calling she said Tina, and that's it.  I had to ask from what company, and she said from the York Regional Police Association Hockey... something... something.  I just replyed, i'm not interested, and she barked back interested in what?  And I said, in making a donation.  She said she was calling to invite me to a hockey something, I quickly replyed, still not interested.

They are a company that does calls for charities that do not do their own calling. So they could be calling for Old timers hockey, or police out reach flyers or whatever. They are annoying but legit.

what the hell do these guys want? they call 2 times a day when the wife and i are not home.

I was receiving repeated calls from this organization, so I asked them to stop calling me, this was several months ago. Now, they're calling me again. So I suppose we'll have to call them repeatedly, & annoy them until they get the message. Please call: 1-800-379-7808; 1-800-379-7801; and 1-800-525-9241 in order to annoy them. Try calling them as many times per day as you can manage.

I got a call from this number but noone left a message. I called the number back and got a voicemail that this is an information system for the Old-timer Hockey Challenge and that they were calling to ask to sponsor their upcoming event. The message said that they would be calling again - hope not!

They call quite often and no one on the other end. I am at the point I do not answer any 800 numbers without googling them first.

I called the number back and it said it was part of the police associations fund rasing drive but that noone was available to take my call

They called my work 5 times in 2  hours. And the  girl who called wouldn't tell me why she kept calling because I wouldn't give her my name.

ditto to above info from Art.  Old Timers Hockey Challenge - no message!  When I called back got message to call their  Customer Service dept. at 800-379-7808.  Gonna run that number thru here.

they just called me work, asked me if i was interested in hockey... i said no... the stupid guy just hung up.  What an idiot.

They called looking for a business that used to have my number, I told them this number was no longer the business to which they replied rudely "Fine" and hung up.

I hung up on this number because of a long pause at the beginning, then did a Canada 411 to find out the source.Of coarse no info. I thought I was on the list to not get these calls. So I am hoping to report them to whomever.

I called it back, says it's something about the old timer's hockey challenge... some sort of fundraiser... same 'music' and voice as 800-379-2068 for some cancer recovery thing...
