If you are getting this call, your number is on file with 5/3 as having an account at one of their branches with a debit card tied to it. By LAW, 5/3 must offer overdraft protection to debit card holders and is attempting to get you to answer the question they are bound by law to ask to either sign up or deny this coverage. The law is a federal one enacted along with the consumer credit card protection package. Call them and address the overdraft protection issue or complete either the acceptance or denial on their website. They will continue to call until you answer this federally mandated question.

Yup, it is Fifth Third...if you call 1-800-889-5269 during normal business hours you can be taken off the list. Thank the Lord! Hope this helps.

I just did some searching since I'm getting the calls too, it appears to be from Fifth Third Bank. When I Googled it it took me to an overdraft protection page where the phone number was on the right-hand side of the webpage. Hope this helps!

I've been getting calls from this number for three days now, but they never let it ring: as soon as the number shows up on my phone the call ends & I don't even get a chance to answer!
