I was so furious by this unwanted call and felt so violated in my own home that I did a little more research.  I found you can file a complaint online at this address with the FCC:  http://www.fcc.gov/complaints . It will walk you thru a complaint process thru to submission of the complaint.  Although it takes about 5 minutes to complete the process, I felt a little better about having taken some kind of action.  I thought that if enough people file a complaint against this sort of thing, maybe it will be stopped!

After submission of the complaint, you will receive a complaint submission confirmation number for future reference or in case you need to refile at a future time.

These slimy people called my home and asked for my husband by name.  I am on the Do Not Call list - and I do not want this filth on my phone under any circumstances.  I pay for this phone and this is my HOME.  Tell this service to stop this.  I am going to research this to the hilt and find out how to stop this sort of thing... I am so very angry.

We got a call on 9/6 and on 9/10 both around 8:30. I don't answer 1-800 numbers and if they don't leave a message, then I don't call them back. When did phone sex operators start making phone calls to random numbers?

The caller ID came in with this number 800-852-8255. It was a call sex girl asking for my husband BY NAME. I thought it was kind of funny because they used his first name which he doesn't go by. Sooo, I asked the girl WHO? Then she abruptly hung up on me!  I called the number back & it sounded like a sex number because the recording was saying things of sexual manner. Where do we go for help? I'm already on the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY! This has GOT to STOP! Because I gave my husband an earful just in case he initiated the call !!!!!! He swore up & down that it was not him! They say on the recording that for $2.99 they do anything you want  & for $0.99 you get an amiture.

I called the number which we normally call from our emergency telecommunications center to contact Verizon for issues with downed power lines, etc.  I tried to call from my personal cell phone and got the same message.  I think it's just a Verizon redirect when a number calls certain phone numbers which only accept calls from certain phone numbers (e.g. Dispatch Centers), if that makes any sense.

From 800 849-2343; when I called that number it is a message directing me to 800-852-8255 for stimulating conversation.

I received a letter from Cuna Mutual Group and the letter indicated to call 1800 798 0700.  When I do the voice message indicates "If you are in the mood for some stimulating conversation, call 1-800-852-TALK".

Typo in my message -  "mod" should read "mood"

referral list including the name of Lynn A.  Gardiner at 888-583-5437 -- this number gives a message "if you are in the mod for some stimulating conversation, call 1-800-852-TALK"

Same here!  I cannot stand these jerks.  How can they be stopped?

Received a call from 1-800-849-2343.  Was not home and got number off caller ID.  I called to see who was calling and got a message if I wanted stimulating converation to call the 852-8255 number.

These types of calls MUST STOP.  I'm on a do no call list.  What recourse is there?
