Same thing, no message, answer the call by saying, "how can i help you"

Received a call from "Alliance One" and message to call them back.

I didn't pick up but called back and got "Robby's" answering maching. Sounded like I called someone's home. They never left a message but I left a bad message for them.

I had them also call my phone. Who are these people?

they don't leave a message on my phone, when i return the call a real person picks up...

I get these calls often. Fortunately I'm able to send calls directly to voice mail, where they never leave a message.

This number called my cell... then put me on hold! They are Alliance 1 Collection agency, in this case acting on behalf of Capital One.

Can you please email me anfurnee2@aol.com. I received a call from 1-800-858-4353 stating I owe 700 dollars on a master card. I have no credit cards at all. I told him so and he hanged up. He called himself Robby. He has some information on me, I wonder where he got it from. I too am worrying if he is trying to steal my identity. Is there anything I can do to proctet myself? Have you had any more calls or dealings from him? Thanks, Tony.

My wife and I both received calls from this number on our cell phones almost simultaneously. They left a message similar to the initial post requesting an immediate return call on her voicemail. In my case, there was dead air and I hung up. When I called back, I got the voicemail of some guy named "Robby", and access to their voicemail system which eventually allowed me to figure out his mailbox number (4134) and at least the phonetic pronunciation of his last name ("Riddalush"). Fiddling about, one can iterate through each person in the voicemail system, but one never gets any information about the place you're calling. Nobody has an informative outgoing message.

If this is a collection agency, I'd very much like to know why they're bugging us. Hoping there's not any ID theft going on, we have no outstanding (overdue) unpaid debts.

I just got the same call today, It came up customer service, when I call it back some real guy said hello, It was almost as if I called someones house and of course they did not call back like most people do and say something like, "someone just called my house from this number, who are you"
They called my house before 9am today (sat)

called me at 7:30 PM on a Sunday and again at 11:30 on Monday isb't that illegal?

called under another number yesterday thank goodness for internet so i know who these people are would give you number they called from yesterday but erased it if they call again ill let u know

This is annoying.  For the past three days.  I tried to call back and they play dumb!!!  Who the heck are these creeps
