I've been having the same problem.  I have an unlisted number and have a sneaking suspicion who gave them the number.  They just called again and I didn't answer; this is after I told them in no uncertain terms to never call my cell again.  I just had a BINGO! moment though.  I have a big, loud whistle that will take out an eardrum right here next to my cell and am very prepared to answer the phone and give the caller a big loud blast next time I get a call.  Forget about silence...that won't stop them.  Let the call center there learn that this number is going to hurt them.  Hehe.

My phone went mad this afternoon, flooded with empty txt messages from the Scientology phone number here. They better knock it off.

The Church of Scientology phone number 1-800-858-5414 keeps calling. The man's name is Charlie Rush. I want him to stop calling the number its not even mine but my poor brother's.

A guy named Stan called from the NATIONAL FOUNDATION OF TECH SERVICES confirming if I received "The DVD" in the mail yet.  He also reminded me that, he is calling because it's important . . ..  

I've never talked to anyone from this company.  Nor have I received a DVD in the mail; Scientology is a fantastic technology if you do it correctly.  These "sales" people, (which I am also in sales) are targeting people in a way that is unattractive and ineffective.  I would assume that this sense of urgency is a result of the higher ups in their organization needing more money.  They set the domino effect in play as it follows the chain of command from the top, to the bottom, the customers.  Besides, like all religions, if I'm interested, I will sign up, attend, or what ever.  You can't force-feed me anything.  Who comes up with this method?  I'd rather have a willing customer then a customer that's only 20 % interested.  Less turn around and less failure might I add to completing courses and moving forward up the bridge.

Get calls late at night from the Scientologists on a regular basis.  One lat week was at 12 AM.  Tonights was at 10:30 PM.  I keep asking them to not call but the calls keep coming.  I've made three complaints to the do not call website already.  Please, everyone else make sure you file complaints so hopefully action will be taken against this group once and for all.

I am a Scientologist, and this is a group of people who are locating parishioners and verifying what services they have done and where they are living now, etc. for their database.  I will write a report having to do with what is on this internet page so this matter can be addressed, as there is no intention to harrass anyone.

My mother was in this cult 25 years ago. One day, they start calling my number asking questions about my mom. They would call at least once a day for over a year. I made the mistake of asking them to stop..... the next day they called five timess. I hate this cult and hope they all go the way of Jonetown and Heavens Gate. Long live lord XENU.

Just got a call from this number for the first time in a while. Caller ID shows "TOLL FREE CALL". Caller left no message.

They called twice after midnight tonight.  A family member was a member of the Church (ha!) of Scientology 30 years ago.  They now seem  to have our phone and address thanks to a site put up by a former scientologist listing pretty much everybody that ever took a course.  We get about 3 calls a day and about 5 glossy mailings a week.  They're really harassing us; wish there was something we could do to get them to knock it off.  As it is we're planning to discontinue our home phone service and just use our mobiles as we keep the phone off the hook so much so it doesn't ring constantly.

If you really want to get rid of these freakazoids.....do the following: (1) put your name on the national "do not call" registry (2)record the telephone message, and get their name, org, location, and # (3) when they call, advise them clearly TO TAKE YOUR NAME OFF THEIR LIST, and that if you RECEIVE ANY MORE CALLS FROM THEM, it will be an $11,000 per incident fine - per federal regulations.

Also, if you are getting tons of their obnoxious junk mail.......do this.................There is an USPS "Prohibitory Order" form (ps1500) you can obtain either on-line (see link below) or at your post office. This was originally meant for sexually explicit, provocative, or obscene mail. HOWEVER, and this is the key, only YOU get to decide what is OBSCENE......and the Post Office MUST comply, even if they feel the mail is not sexually explicit.

Mail it to the New York office address, if you give it to your local post office it may get lost or mis-routed. Works well in telling the cult to F*ck Off. Join the thousands of people who have already sent in these forms - to tell the cult to go F*ck themselves.

The post office will get these out within 4 weeks. Please google these prohibitory orders for more info, it stops the cult in its tracks - it has the force of a Federal Order.

I am getting a call about 10 pm almost every night.  I have talked to the church of Scientology decades ago.  Told them not to call anymore, several times.  It never does any good.  Current calls don't seem to have anyone on the other end and sometimes only ring a couple times before they disconnect.  It doesn't seem to have any purpose.  I think that their auto-dial system has some sort of glitch.  I am going to block this number.

I went to Narconon the cult rehab arm of The Church of Scientology. They brain wash you to become a Scientologist and donate your life savings to learn about fiction novel writer L Ron Hubbard. Anyhow, they won't stop calling me and their "nice, calm-best-buddy" approach is more irritating then nasty bill collectors. They make you feel bad for trying to get them off the phone with antics like, "Am I bothering you?" or "Did I say something to offend you?" and they are trying to get under your skin, but don't let them. They are hypocrites! Scientology teaches about getting your message out and being direct to the person who is bothering you, if they don't understand that you don't want to be bothered with the call and are not interested then hang up, and continue to hang up you don't owe these "aliens" an explanation.

this no called us twice yesterday.  The first time they hung up when I answered.  The second call was at 10:30 at night when we were all sleeping.  I have asked the Church of Scientology to stop calling our house for over three years but they just keep at it.  Talk about desperate!!!

There is an incessant effort to call and call and call even when good manners have prevailed and I have asked them to remove me from these  lists.

I am even registered with the Government Do NOT call numbers to prevent telemarketers calling.
This is intrusion and enforcement after repeated polite attempts to cease and desist.

If i had to guess, I'd say it's an autodial system and someone is supposed to pick up when they get a live answer. But something seems wrong with their system, at least where my number is concerned.  When I answer, there's no one on the line.  When I don't answer, no messages have yet been left.  I get calls from this number maybe every 3 or 4 days, generally evenings... then sometimes no calls for weeks.  It has gone on for maybe 4-5 months.  I do sometimes get calls from Scientology, have no problem talking to them and they have been civil, but I have never been able to confirm who is making the calls from this particular number.

Keep getting calls late at night and when I answer then they hang up. I called the number back and it was the Church Of Scientology. I left a message telling them to take my number off their calling list. If that doesn't work I will take legal actions.

Church of Scientology. Continuous harassment despite repeated requests to stop contact.  Have blocked this number on my phone and written to the Department of Justice to request assistance with harassment.  Am also writing my elected representatives to request legislative action.  I wonder if contact to the IRS would assist. Perhaps this would invalidate their tax exempt status?

Bonnie from the Church of Scientology. I have asked numerous times to be taken off this list and they reuse. Not just from this number but from other ones. Scientology was invented by a science fiction writer who supposedly found all the secrets of the universe. But he spent the last ten years of his life hiding from the US government.

Calling my cell phone looking for my wife regarding mailings at an address where her father lived at 25 years ago.  They call at night and repeatedly.  Even though I ask to be removed, they say they can't remove the number unless they talk to the person they are asking for.  How they associated my cell number with her address is crazy; we even have different last names.  XENU is everywhere!  Flippin' freakazoids.
