gettng unwanted calls from this number...tried to unsubscribe and message says my number is not list..bu***hit.
i want the calls to stop

i canceled this and they keep texting me and they keep feeding me the same line "o it was canceled 8 months ago"

hey i just rec'd the PREM_SMS 36726 Ringtone.com Alerts 8663 charge too.  i called verizon and had the charge reversed and the operator gave me the words to get it unsubscribed.  use "unsubscribe quit cancel stop opt out"  use them all since you mat not know what they require to cancel.  Then I had verizon block ALL premium messaging.  that way it doesn't happen again. This was the fourth time in 6 months.  Before they only let you block ALL TEXTs not just the premium ones.  I guess since it has happened alot, they put a protection plan in place.  Good thing.

This number has come up on our phone bill for 10 months, despite many trys to get it removed.

sprint, with no questions asked, reversed the two months of charges from the scam artists and said they would block the texts from coming thru.  thing is i recall only receiving one text, yet there are two months of charges. slimy!

They keep texting me and I am charged $9.99.  I don't even want the call. Sprint had taken the charge off.  I don't understand why I am charged for something I did not want.

This is some company called b4p and I am so angry that I keep getting texts and 9.99 charges on my phone bill every single month!!!!  It is impossible to get it to stop and I don't even know how it started.

I got a text message from 88230 since I didn't recognize the number I didn't open it only to find out 2 months later that I was also being charged for something I didn't sign up for.  I opened the text message and you have to send stop to 88230 to end your account with Bid4Prizes.com.  I called customer service and asked them how they got my number.  She says I signed up on-line.  I told her I didn't and if that was all it took anyone who has your number can do that. She informs me that a pin number was sent to my phone to confirm and I told her yes I do have two texts from you that I didn't open because I didn't order anything.  When I told her I was going to report this to the BBB she refund my money (we will see if I get it) and cancelled my account.  I don't understand when it became legal for companies to sign you up for things and make it your reponsibility to cancel if you don't want it.  Shouldn't it be the other way around.  I also contacted the FCC everyone needs to voice their opinion if it is going to stop.

The same thing happened to me. I called their number and waited through 10 "all agents are busy, we will get to your call ASAP." Eventually the recording stated that all agents were busy and I would have to call back. I would like to know what the CA Attorney General is doing about this.

My wife got one of those txts today.  I called VERIZON and was very precise in my displeasure at this.

1. They said they will block ALL premium text messages on all of our lines in the future.
2. They creditted me for all of the charges.  

SO CALL YOUR CELL PHONE CARRIER!!!!!

Altell is a big part of the scam.  Called Bid4Prizes and they told me I initiated the contact - BS - suspect it happened when I bought a new cell last year.

I have been charged 9.99 six f***ing times this is bu***hit!

I just discovered I have been billed $9.99 per mo since 11/07.  Feel really stupid since I didn't check the bill(s) carefully.  Called Verizon and they immediately said they would credit next months bill $9.99.  I don't understand how they can claim innocence when they are a conduit for this scam.  They are collecting my money and remitting it to Bid4Prz.  I think the CO Attorney General Fraud Unit is my next contact and then maybe the FCC.  This country is getting full of no goods who have no morals whatsoever.

This was on my sprint bill! I never signed up for anything...bunch of scammers!! I texted stop to the number, hopefully I wont get any more charges.

Hope I don't get charged for sending "stop" to 81000....is that what will happen?

Same here, alltel would not give us credit. They gave us the website info - our 12 yr old daughter didn't even recognize the website. So, they find some other sneaky way to get you - we cancelled her texting abilities and are still charged 9.99 from this company and another 9.99 from 66047 Mm Text alerts on our new bill!!! I am definetly going to file a complaint.

They charged my daughters phone twice now for 9.99. I just started to look into it and am not very encouraged by some of these comments. I hope I can get them to stop.

I just got off the phone with the SOBs and even though we had unsubscribed from them the last part of December I have gotten two more bills total of 3 for their 81000 text number.  They say I am not in the system anymore and the automated check said I am not subscribed anymore.
I called them (again) for about the 10th time (each time getting more pissed off) and they gave me the song and dance about the first two monthes we would not get back but a check had already been cut for the month of February  (I will believe that when I see it).
Even if it is only $20 I am turning it over to the South Dakota Attorney Generals Fraud office and if anyone else from South Dakota or any other State who reads this does the same maybe this operation can be driven out of business.
As an added note our cell company who we've been with for 14 years won't refund the money to us either. Just think of the millions of dollars this boiler room operation has conned the general public out of.

I was shocked to see five unauthorized text messages on my verizon cell phone at 15 cents each. Three of them were were bearing the number 81000 and one of them was a premium text message charging me $9.99. A typical message was:

I called Verizon and they gave me the bs that I must have signed up for it and after threatening that I will cancel my contract with them, they said that they will give the credit in next month's bill and that I should pay the present bill in full. I paid the bill in full and I hope that they will give credit for $9.99 in next month's biil. I do not believe that Verizon is unaware of this scam when I see hundreds of people are affected by this scam.
This is ridiculous. I immediately put a block on all text messages since I do not use them.

I've got 2 charges from 2 different companies like this. I never signed up for anything. Received 2 text messages and didnt reply to either and I have 2 charges for 9.99.

Verizon billed me 9.99 for the same scam from 1-800-861-7414. Shame on Verizon for not stopping this scam billing. They are to blame too!

These scamming bastards needs to be stopped. I pray a flesh eating virus consumes them slowly and painfully. I got several of their calls one right after the other...relentlessy. It seems that the number traces back to a company in Irvine, Ca...name-NEW MOTION 42 Corporate Park- Irvine Ca 92606 ph.949 777 3700 x235. The # left on my ph. showed 800 861 7414 and an ID#81000.

I have the same story I keept receiving call from this BID4PRZ3 each time I was bill $ 9.99 nothing was done I think I'm filling a complaint with FCC .

I just got my Verizon bill and there was a $9.99 charge for data under my daughter's phone number.  When I called Verizon they told me that I would have to text stop or quit to 81000 but that they could not credit me the charge.  I went thru this several months ago with another company called Playphone and had this nonsense blocked from my daughters' phones (or so I thought).  Now I am being told that as long as they have a texting package they can respond to these types of emails which are then charged to their account!!!  I am spitting bullets mad as I thought that I had this under control and here we go again!!!!

I too just got my bill with two $9.99 charges.  Turns out that this comes from signing up for Photobucket.  The Verizon lady had me text "stop" to 81000 and wait for the text message saying you are opted out.

My husband received a premium text message from Bid4Prz3 and was charged $9.99.  My husband never signed up by text message or website.  Called the number, at Bid4Prz 3, and she said the subscription had been cancelled 11 days later.  She assured me that the number was on their do not call list and we would not receive any more texts.  I called Verizon and they did credit my account $9.99, but said if any more charges incur from this company, we would be responsible for them.  I have contacted the California State Attorney General and also filed a complaint with the FCC.
