Goddamn USA Today still calls me at least once a month.  A couple times I tried telling them to stop, but it never worked.  I hope there's a special place in hell for their subscription department.

The number is USA Today and I had called earlier in the week to be taken of their automated caller system.  Of course they called again today on Saturday.  I left something on their Twitter account about canceling our subscription if they don't stop calling.  Maybe they will stop eventually but I highly doubt it.  I hate USA Today.

It's annoying when they call 5 times a day, especially when you've never subscribed to USA Today, and have asked them to stop calling but then they call anyway? I have a life too, I just don't like mine interrupted by my phone constantly.

These people started calling me three days ago.  I did not answer the call the first time they called, because I don't answer calls I don't recognize.  I looked up the number when I arrived home and saw that it is USA Today's subscription department.  They called again that evening and I answered, but to nothing but twenty seconds of silence on their end and then they hung up.  I called them back the next morning to request to have my number removed from their calling list.  They called again a couple of hours later, and asked for a man.  I told them that I am not that person, and that I had already requested that my number be placed on their do not call list.  The man apologized and said it would take five days for the request to take effect.  They called me again that day and I ignored it.  Today, they called again at noon and left a two minute message of recorded music, with a person coming on at the end asking for the wrong person again.  It's bad enough that they disobey the do not call list.  It's bad enough that they continue to call when I already told them that I am not the person who they want to con into buying another subscription.  But, it's just ridiculous to punish someone for requesting to be removed from their calling list by chewing up their cell phone minutes leaving two minute messages filled with recorded music.  I will NEVER EVER buy a copy of USA Today, and I will certainly never subscribe to USA Today after this nonsense.

Auto dialer from USA Today called my phone twice, reached the voice mail, but left no message.  After checking the number online after arriving home, I saw that it was USA Today.   I gave a one year gift subscription to an in-law thirteen months ago, so they probably want me to renew the gift subscription.  I answered the next call to tell them to put my number on their do not call list, but heard nothing but several seconds of silence despite saying hello several times.  I called them the next morning and told them to place my number on their do not call list, as the in-law does not want the subscription renewed.  I also told them that I didn't appreciate my cell phone being tied up by an auto dialer and being greeted by several seconds of silence that is wasting my time.

I haven't been a usa today subscriber for more than a year, but they still call me every month or two asking if I want to resubscribe.  Kind of annoying really, but that's why I don't answer numbers I don't recognize.

We already subscribe to USA Today and don't want anymore phone calls to get us to resubscribe. If we have to stop the USA Today delivery to be rid of them, so be it.

I have a life and when I got the call from this phone number that at the time I didn't know I didn't answer it. And because I am not a loser and I have a life I will continue to ignore it because wasting my time putting myself on the Do Not Call list is a hell of  a lot more trouble than simply choosing to oh I don't know, NOT ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE.

I had an issue with identity theft a while back in which someone subscribed to USA today using my credit card. After I promptly canceled this subscription USA today repeatedly called me. I told them what happened and to take me off of the subscription list, and after some months passed they are calling me again. I will never consider purchasing their paper due to this harassment and may consider taking legal action if this continues. What a lousy company.

This number called at 2:18 CST.

I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

I recently tried a trial subscription with USA Today and cancelled it.

Nice to know who was calling and to ignore the calls.

This is USAToday.com, AKA Gannet Co, Inc.  You can file a lawsuit against them for $1500 per call violating the TCPA.  They are not allowed to call cell phones using autodialers.

After cancelling my subscription they now call me about every other day. When I answer they hang up. Sometimes I hear laughter so I don't think this is automated, I think it is deliberate harassment.

It is indeed USA Today and they obviously are clueless calling on a Sunday Morning. Not sure what they want. I canceled my subscription, they credited my bill and then re-billed me for another subscription. Seems as though they hire the less than competent crew. They ring the phone, you answer and they say nothing. DUH.

They call me about two times a day also.  I never am able to anser and they never leave a message.  I think this is a trend with customer service departments.  They have automated machines call the customer, and than make them wait while they connect you with a customer service representative.  It is really annoying.  I have also received similar calls like this from Chase and 5/3 bank.  I think a law should be passed making this illegal.  It is very annoying and intrusive.

They called twice today, I picked up the phone, no one answers.  They are using my cell phone minutes and hanging up on me.  I can't wait to tell USA Today what I think about their telemarketing methods.

Whoever had my brand new phone number obviously didn't pay their bills since these morons from USA Today are calling about 4 times a day to "talk about my subscription".  Don't have one.  Don't want one.  Probably wouldn't take one if you gave it to me after this crap.  Took 4 calls to their supervisors and reporting them to Do Not Call Registry before they stopped.
