Its just an alumni book. If you dont want anything included. Then say so. Remove me from the book. I did it. Its that easy. Otherwise go ahead and update. I just went to my 40th reunion and wish I had of updated. Things are not that serious people.

People need to start putting pressure on this kind of outfit to stop bothering people. There is a Do Not Call Registry COMPLAINT number to report them: 1-888-382-1222. Do it!

Harris (should really be spelt HARASS) Connect is a sleazy would-be "publisher" of "alumni directories." What they do is collect your private information from whatever schools you might have been affiliated with at some time in your life, then they pay "vendors" (a/k/a data-mining snoops) to harvest your current information. Then they call and write you and hound you to death, to "update" and "verify" your private data, so they can expand the NETWORK OF HARASSMENT. If you do not respond to their hounding calls and mailings, they will go ahead and PUBLISH YOUR PRIVATE DATA without your permission. Then they sell it to people who can in turn call or write or show up on your doorstep to harass you. They not only "publish" your information in soft and hardbound copies, but also electronic CDs--electronic data form is easily shared across computers.
If you are tired of having your private data violated, call the School office and tell them to STOP selling/sharing your information; and instruct Harris to get you out of their system.
While you are talking to Harris, DEMAND to find out WHERE they got your current information (because most of the people they are harassing have had zero contact with the educational institution involved for many decades, so you know they are using DATAMINERS to get access to your current info.) They will refuse to tell you, and cite B.S. reasons why they cannot provide you with the name of the VENDOR who is supplying all your private information (their excuse: "We have a contract that denies us telling you the name of the vendor"! Yeah, pretty outrageous that they have all YOUR info but refuse to tell you WHERE they're getting it!)
Be persistent and DEMAND that they remove you from their databases and CEASE all contact by any means whatsoever.
